ParticipantSorry folks, I was in West By God No Internet Virginia last night and today. Just got home. Looks like everything got sorted out, but I think I specically disallowed people dressed as animals somewhere, but I’m too burned to go find it.
Thanks for participating, folks!

ParticipantSo, in the world of farktography, scanning as a means of turning film into ones and zeroes is absolutely kosher. Dititization by means of a slide duplicating rig attached to your DSLR has been mentioned as kosher, though AFAIK, never been used.
I’ve done that lots of times… a number of my entries have been slides or negatives that I duped in a DSLR copy rig.
i.e. this is a Tri-X neg copied with my D50 and a cheapo slide copy rig. Reverse the light/dark values in Photoshop, and Voila!

In fact, this entire Flickr set is copied negs and slides:

ParticipantPlama, I’d pick the second of your shots.

ParticipantI’m glad to see this get some traction!
It comes down to the picking. If we choose personal favorites, that’s easier (although I’d have a hard time pickin from all my chilluns :), but I’d like to see a way to upvote/select others’ work.
How about the Farktographer picks three from their portfolio and posts them, the community then picks the final one?
Let’s try it:
A)

Union Station, Indianapolis by pjern, on FlickrB)

FreakOut! by pjern, on FlickrC)

Mother and Daughter by pjern, on FlickrI don’t know. I picked my favorites of my contest winners, but I could make an argument for me liking many of my shots that gathered a top-ten placement.
So which would you pick of the three, or alternatively, off my bibliostats page?
