Pick a theme so Elsinore could post a bug on a kid, I could post a stapler on a kid, soosh could post a dismembered corpse in a starkly beautiful abandoned mine, millera9 could have his posts blocked by the Saudi government and frantically call the embassy with his thickest American accent, begging for someone to fax his birth certificate to them, between sobs, SilverStag could post a great shot that doesn’t get anywhere near enough attention, and so on and so on.
Maybe redo a couple famous songs* (I think you know which ones) in a staged video edit a week or two beforehand.
Maybe have a bear theme the week beforehand.

Didn’t someone post a thread about the front element of his f/1.8 just popping out?

I only have the f/1.8, and it’s nice, but the autofocus kinda sucks. It hunts, it short focuses, the lens rattles when you shake it, manual focusing is hard (tiny focus ring which turns about 2 degrees) and the color isn’t so great. The bokeh on the f/1.4 is a lot nicer too. Other than all that, I love it. It’s sharp, light, and I don’t have to worry about protecting it.

Is there a local camera place where you could try them both out?

The flowers had noses for blossoms and could easily be photographed year round. It was perfectly relevant.
You see, in Japanese, hana can mean nose or blossom. It’s a pun.
I thought you guys liked puns. I guess I was wrong.
