i feel thet my entry for next week is fairly unique

what did surprise me was that within a minute of posting the boobies 4 folks had posted pictures and by the time i got mine in at a minute and a half 7 folks had posted.

i was sure more people were going to do what i did, so i sat on latest links and hit refresh til the thread came up, then i had two tabs open in the thread, one with my post, the other i hit refresh til i saw the blurb.. i posted 14 secs after your post was hosted..

sure i wasn’t going to be the only one doing finger over the lens…

Ok, so I fretted over the expletive and made it sfw with a clicky to the real version, when I just shoulda picked a different picture altogether–it’s got almost 900 views but a grand total of 1 vote right now lol. Just when I think I’m starting to get a grasp on the kinds of pictures that might get votes, something shows me the error of my ways… 😆

btw, any other people post images in abandoned threads to see how they look first? or am i the only paranoid..

also how strict are we about using an image in a subsequent contest

i have an image that went down in flames in an earlier contest, now there is a more appropriate contest coming up…

Also, the alternate day of week contest sounds cool here, especially with the one entry limit.

Maybe even add another twist… like say the submitted pic must have been shot during the seven-day period immediately preceding the contest date.

i dont shoot for contests, and others don’t either.. in fact i have only taken one picture for the contests, other than that i am living off my stock so to speak..

i definatly like the idea of 1 picture per in a contest

i was going to post two shots, but then it went live faster so the reg farkers could play to -before it was maxed out, therefore i… i… i added a 3rd image.. i feel so… jaded..

actually having the contest go live quickly means regular farkers can play too w/o changing the rule everyone seems to like…’

how about a 2nd contest during the weekend, and making it ONE entry since so many people will be able to particpate..
