well i have three and two are badass and one is only if you think possums in your laundry room are badass.

ParticipantThis technique and I don’t get along. And when I say that I don’t mean that it likes chocolate and I prefer orange. I mean that we loathe each other with every fiber of our beings. We can’t be in the same room together. Civility is not an option. Hide the knives and won’t somebody think of the children.
In other words, my voting numbers surprise me not at all.
ParticipantHmmph, sounds like my walk to the Subway stop! I often get a queasy feeling in some neighborhoods, and find myself tucking my camera inside a coat. At least the local thugs all think I am a cop so the leave me alone.
Only the gang-bangers caused me any hint of worry. I found myself sizing them up to see if I could take them on and giving up that idea almost before it was formed. 😆 I probably could have defending myself — and more importantly my camera (wait, what are my priorities?!) — against one of them, but three?! lol But I was in a really visible place with a witness right there (literally on the bench with me, though he was sitting like a normal human being). He’d have been useless in a fight, even more so than me, but that type of criminal really is cowardly in a lot of ways. Just not so cowardly that they’d be afraid of me. (still laughing here)
ParticipantWhat are thoughts on U-man’s airport shot and my street shot as qualifying? I tend toward U-man’s definition, but then I’m biased? I’ll be working for the next few hours but will check back here during break; disenvotify if that’s the concensus (sheds a tear if so).
I think they are fine. I guess I get the nit-picking, but they come up with the right result and they fit the verbiage of the contest description. They are also good, clear shots, which can’t be said for all of the entries.

ParticipantSixty exposures: one usable photo. Add to that an hour cleaning lenses and removing dust on the shot once I arrived home. Way more work than three votes deserves. 🙄
Okay, mine wasn’t that bad… 57 shots, number of usable ones up for debate, and a long debate it might be. No howling winds, but 2 hookers walking up and down the sidewalk behind me while I stood on the bus-stop to try and get some of the fence out of the shot… And then there was the homeless-looking guy who complimented me on my camera and asked if it was the rebel series, but wasn’t too disappointed that it wasn’t. And the three gang-bangers who seemed to give some calculating thought to the possibility of witnesses before letting me be. 😯
Somehow I feel like I could work this into a really strange version of the 12 days of christmas….
