I took on my tree picture on the way home from visiting some friends a few miles down the road tonight just maybe four hours before the contest went live. and both the elk shots are from this week also. no archives for me just luck. Hope I have some with the votes.

Close race indeed. I only needed three more votes to tie for first. But I am super stoked to be in the top five so Congrats to everybody are definitely in order.

Congrats for sure to U-Man. there were a whole lot of cool entries this week.

Hahaha! 😆

I am by no means an expert and I have not played with film lenses but I would agree with the auto focus theory. I get better sharpness if I turn off the auto focus on my cheap kit lens

My guess is zittlechick.

Never mind Fark is back.

Thanks bucky bacon. That is the picture where the guy who runs the computer store that was taken in asked me what I was taking pictures of. So it was a natural fit this week.
I am not getting my Fark fix either. Which is a drag because I’m dealing with a bit o the ole insomnia tonight.

I am using one I just shot the other day because I was there and as the theme says the camera made me. I had an older shot with the point and shoot that I liked but I think the new version is much sharper. While I was shooting the picture my friend who runs the business asked me what I was doing so I believe it Really fits the theme. The other 2 are archive shots .

[lokisbong]

I agree the second picture is a neat picture U-man. and thanks for the positive comments olavf and U-man. I thought it fit the theme but wasn’t 100% sure.

[lokisbong]

Do you think this fits the theme?

I have at least one I know fits the theme for sure because somebody asked me why I was taking pictures of it.

[lokisbong]

Yeah! Thank you very much Kestrana! This is looking very cool indeed.

My last girlfriend was gluten intolerant. Dinners were interesting but usually fairly good. not a big fan of her pasta noodles though. She was also cat fur intolerant and wanted me to get rid of my cat who I had known a lot longer than her. I still have the cat….

[lokisbong]

whoa! Very cool.
