So orionid, would you count this as ok? or no. The tree kind of ends up the subject over the sky, but it’s obvious it was taken during sunset with those colors so I’m not sure how much wiggle room you’re giving 🙂

yeah good question. I have a lot of shots with vividly colored skies but not necessarily showing the sun. We wouldn’t be able to use those?

QueenBee: I restored your original so you can get your votes back. Looks like the file size is 151k, so it just might have hiccuped at some point. 150k generally is safe, but the file size limit is sort of fuzzy, and I’ve found it’s safer to keep it under that.

Here’s a question of the rhetorical type – why is a woman in her undies totally OK but this one is questionable?

I’m going to say it has to do with women and bikinis..they look like undies but arent so people deem that kind of thing ok. Thats just my take on it..

and for my own question..while boobs are bad, would sculpted ones need to be linked? I havent decided if I’ll used this one yet but I figured it didn’t hurt to ask

i have a second job in retail. Our hours just shifted to being open till 11pm and by next week it’ll be midnight so..yay for subbing all day and then having to work the other job till midnight!

I have a couple of ideas for this contest. We’ll see how they come out as I haven’t been overly thrilled with my stuff lately…

Hmm, one thing I noticed is that B&W seems to work better for this theme. Just turning a couple of my entries to B&W made them look like they fit the theme better to me.

Hmm, or with most of the color removed.

I agree. I took a shot I love last night and it looks much better in black and white. i think to me low key =s creepy and creepy is always better in black and white 😛
