ParticipantLoved your flower, killerclaw

ParticipantI love that last one.
Damn, I miss lightning.

ParticipantIt is one of the hardest things to do, taking photos of strangers. My series of bus photos was basically a way of forcing myself to become comfortable with that kind of shooting, and it worked well. Like anything else, the more you do it, the more comfortable it feels.
The bull-riding shots are great. I think a monopod might be a lot more useful in that sort of situation than a tripod.

Participantdamn. moving took longer than expected and I was offline all day and night. Good work, everyone!

ParticipantI sometimes wonder about what percentage of ‘orange’ in the shot will make it qualify:

I think there’s enough here, even though there’s more blue:

This is sort of “variations on orange”:

And I’m waffling on whether there is enough orange here:

Your calls?
Absolutely enough orange in all of them. And I’m a sucker for early Ford V8s, though I’d wager that one doesn’t still have a flathead in it.

Participantwhat’s the queue on this looking like?

ParticipantDoes this seem “orange” enough for the theme?

ParticipantThree different versions of the same picture.
Looking for input.
I like the first one best.
I like the first one best, but I think it might benefit from a crop more like the third that accents the shape of the tail lights a bit more. The third one is nice as well.

ParticipantOf those, the only one that really grabs me enough for a vote would be the Anemone.

ParticipantIt’s amazing what you can do with light pollution and the right kind of sky. This one is all city lights.

ParticipantThat’s nothing. I fell asleep sitting on a rock waiting for the dark frame to finish while taking this picture

and woke up four hours later at dawn, covered in frost, barely able to move I was so damned cold.
photography. hard work.

ParticipantSome programs, like noise ninja, strip all the exif data out of jpgs. So I’ve looked at some exif editors that have the ability to batch process a folder of pre-noise processed jpg files, pull the exif data out of all of them, and then add it back to the corresponding noise-filtered files.
You could also use an exif data editor to add data to your files, such as gps location, personal notes, copyright information, particular lens used (rather than just focal length) etc.
