ParticipantI guess it’s easy for us to go the camera gear way, I’m stil working on a couple of cameras, trying to make the shot work.

ParticipantHaha, I was thinking about doing something with my B/W chemicals (besides processing some film) and then I saw your pictures on flickr ennuipoet, only I was thinking on putting a small digicam up front with the bottles in the background.
Might as well go the fetish way and whore some votes =)

ParticipantLucky you ennuipoet, I’ve been shooting for this theme for some days now, so far nothing really pleases me. I may have to skip it if I can’t come up with something acceptable within the next few hours.
I’m going through one of those dark periods when thoughts/ideas completely fail to realize.

ParticipantI suppose Nissan Skylines are out. I know of a guy who had one imported straight from Japan, with the steering wheel on the wrong side and everything.
He was unable to register it though.

Participant(gee, I posted in the wrong thread…)
RL got in my way again, was not able to shoot what I had in mind for this contest, so I had to resort to the archives.
A lot of great entries this week, cool theme.

ParticipantI also have my share of RR tracks and roads, but given that I’ve missed the last two contests, I want to enter this one with new images. Have one or two ideas, maybe one will work out.

ParticipantThe shots you posted are farking powerful shots. I am profoundly jealous of them. Indeed, I am pretty much gnashing my teeth at most of the shots you post. Are you a Ringer? 🙂
Hahaha =)
I agree with the Powerful comment. On the slightly tighter framed one I said wow out loud even. Bummer about your internet access probs emiliogtz . Hope that gets straightened out fast.
Thank you so much for your comments, so glad both you liked the results. That was a very cool session, we started out with a clear idea of what to do, the model is a lead singer/composer in a band (not famous yet) and we had arranged for the shots a couple of weeks earlier, while I was building the “handcuff camera strap”.
Come shooting day, he shows up with his girlfriend and a bottle of wine. We started the session, everything went smoothly, then, a few drinks later, things took a turn to the surreal and I ended up with my own personal favorite nude shots so far. Totally unexpected and uncalled for. =)

ParticipantI still have a photograph to make, will post it tomorrow, if at all. Had to move to a new house last weekend and it’s been hell.
No landline, and no internet access in the short term.
/I’m dying here.

ParticipantWordPress seems to be the easiest/less expensive solution. Great way to start. My sites are also WordPress-based (I flirted with Joomla a while back too, was a bit harder to manage).
Still, should you have a bigger budget, you can also take a look at smugmug and the like. WordPress is cool and all but getting it integrated with large galleries is not that smooth, you can easily end up with a lot of duplicated content, which is why I may be looking for a centralized solution in the not so distant future.

ParticipantThat’s a sign of the things to come, Kestrana. Magnific take on this theme.

ParticipantI underestimated the borrowed part too.

ParticipantSome sweet Porsches btw, that Dusenberg is awesome bender.

ParticipantOK since no one wants to chime in about the model car thing. What about pick-up trucks. Are they allowed?
😛
I certainly hope so, I may include one.

Participantearly 90’s Toyota Hiace van…most popular taxi in South Africa. You could get away with it. They kept roughly the same model until the mid- 2000’s
Looks like you nailed it Uranus, I’m pretty sure this one came from South America though. There were some parts near the Mexico-Guatemala border where you could get these things for a few hundred dollars.
