Not updated very frequently and still has a couple of javascript bugs I haven’t figured out yet.

ParticipantIs it too late to postpone this one again and maybe just do an open contest? I really wanted to do this one, but I’m in the same boat as apparently many others here…
Is that even possible?

ParticipantWell, I had what looked like a good idea but it has remained unrealized, too many people needed to make it work. Then I had them showing up for the shot but they chose to get drunk instead. I’m afraid I’m gonna have to skip this one.
Even though I have some vinyls lying around they aren’t really good candidates, and as U-Man said, cd sleeves don’t seem to work.

ParticipantMy assessment: Decent toy. I’d give it to my kid.
I wouldn’t do that to my kid. 🙂

ParticipantI like to do fashion, street, budoir. People have always been my favorite subject. I spent most of the time I dedicate to this hobby of mine making photographs of persons. I like directed and spontaneous shots, in my experience, some persons, specially when they come in couples, need to be directed, while others are great at being themselves, so to speak. I like to be in the studio, where things are under your control, but I also like to go outdoors and get some real colors. My wife is a social photographer so I get to work as a ‘second photographer’ from time to time, that has been very helpful to my photography and social skills. I used to be a blast at parties. =)
However, I wish I could do street more often. If only I could learn to handle the fear that grips me as soon as I aim my camera at a complete stranger, maybe I could get a half-decent shot. I’m working on it. I grab a camera, take the bus/subway, hit downtown, get back home eight hours later empty-handed. At least all that walking is good for my health, or so they say.

ParticipantDo you guys consider film cameras obsolete?
From a PURELY technical standpoint, yes. For the purposes of this theme*, yes. From a personal perspective, not only no but hell no.
*Not my theme, so that is pure opinion.
By no means I consider them obsolete either, but like you said, for the purpose of this theme, I just might.
/I still have plenty of frozen (expired) film in the fridge =)

Participant(Mostly because it is also my style of photography) 😛
That’s kind of my problem, I can’t develop a style, hehe 😕
Thanks a lot for the input guys, looking forward for tonight’s entries. 😀

ParticipantThat 135mm Nikkor is a very fine lens, built like a tank, a breeze to focus, great aperture ring feeling.
It has great, warm colors, as can be seen from your awesome images.

ParticipantI took an alternative route back from work today, saw a car basically made of rust, save for the flat tires. guess I’ll take that route again tomorrow.

ParticipantAnother question, do we have to choose three items from the list or can we take say, three pictures of people of Walmart?
