well thanks… the thing is… i may be only 12K away from the goal for NaNo, but more important to me at this point is finishing the story, and that’s going to take more than 12K words. =P Good luck, though. And yeah, I’m sure there will be some funny inconsistencies. =D I haven’t been behaving myself all that well on that front. I actually even sat down one night and started reading all the way from the beginning. I didn’t finish that night, had to pick it up in the morning. It doesn’t totally suck. =P

/this reminds me of the weekly hijacking of the nano group to talk about farktography…. =P

For me it’s “Have I finished writing this book yet?” It’s hard to concentrate on other fields of creative endeavor at the moment. I keep waiting until almost the last minute to throw something together =

I had a dream this morning that I’d accidentally posted two pictures in one of my posts so the mods had removed voting enabled. Not only that, but at least one of the pictures wasn’t remotely related to the theme, possibly both of them. In the dream I discovered this problem this morning when it was too late to fix. I was bummed. =P

I’m excited to see what this contests brings. I own no filters so all mine were homemade. I really like some of the results I got 🙂

So were mine. Well, perhaps “home improvised” would be better, since I didn’t actually manufacture the pill bottle I used in the pill-vision picture, for instance. 😛 I think that kind of silly filter is much more fun than something more traditional for this kind of contest.

Does it have to be something that’s destroyed beyond use? I have some that fit that bill…but I also had a slightly different take on it after watching my nephews play with some of their toys and how they liked to build things up only to destroy them. I’m linking two my possibilities, let me know if you guys don’t think they really count in the realm of being destroyed 🙂 Thanks!

Well, in theory, we could beg our lovely mods to exchange for other pictures. I’ve cast my lot, though. My new pictures may tank, but I think they have more personality than the ones I decided not to use.
