Do you do any work on the photos using photoshop or gimp after you take the shot. If not you could try going to levels in photoshop/gimp which can help to correct the colors, the auto button usually does a pretty good job of this for you too.

Id just try going to a camera store, even if they dont have it they might be able to help you chase one down(an independent store might be more likely to do this than ritz or some large chain store like that if its something they dont have in their system).

If we do this we should see if we could get any of the former farktographers to participate, especially people like veruca and monkeybort who put in time and energy getting farktography going when it was still young. Maybe we could even sucker some of them into competing again.

I’d give the newer version of qtpfsgui a try(I haven’t yet) because I think it’s supposed to include an updated, and hopefully even better version of mantituk, which is more realistic tone mapping settings.

Id go with the 2nd one too, the inside of the building seems a little too bright in the first one.

Also, is it considered bad photo-fu to post panoramas that have black or white chunks of missing picture in them?

For the most part Id say youre probably better off without missing chunks, but sometimes it can really fit the picture like swampas entry that won the other time we did stitching.
