Does lord argents first shot look familiar to anyone else? My computer isnt being very happy right now so Im having trouble checking the fsm right now to see if its a repeat or if its just similar to a shot Ive see somewhere else.

using the computer to crop is also much cheaper than getting a lens that I can take a picture of something small and still have it be a large part of the picture

So why are we pretending the booze?

On most point and shoot cameras a half click on the shutter button will set the aperture/shutter speed based on what the camera is pointing at so you can point the camera at something darker, push the button halfway down, and then aim it at your target and take a shot. This will probably make the outside lights really bright but you can probably fix that a little by decreasing the constrast or dodging the lights in gimp.(someone else can probably give you more ideas or better directions on what to do in gimp than I can)

Yeah Ive been using the diana-holga plugin for gimp. Ive mainly been putting the zoom on 1, blur on 1 or 2, stretch on 2 or 3, and been increasing the contrast to the 25 – 30 range. I have to agree that its pretty addicting and was pretty easy to figure out what I was doing with it.

Just vote for half the pictures like I did. Seeing everyones pictures this week made me wish I wasnt having so much fun with band literal that I never got around to going out to find some flowers to photograph for this week.

Since this is a bunch of farkers just yelling ‘more drink’ whenever anyone gives you any trouble should go over pretty well.

I was wondering if this contest being scheduled for the day before thanksgiving would cut down on participation if a lot of people are going to be heading out of town. If this date was going to be a problem for people to participate my two ideas were moving the contest up a day(if this makes it easier for people to participate) or just changing it to a best of contest and moving this contest back to a later date.(If you do a count of who can participate in the contest as its scheduled now you can count me as probably available)

I havent been having to much luck in getting anything that Ive been very happy with using the dynamic range extender in gimp. Unfortunately thats been the only thing that Ive been able to even get working so Im stuck with it.

If people just wanted the occasional second contest would something like adding one contest a month where we did old themes over again and then did new themes every wednesday be possible and something people are interested in?
