Mods, could you please zap evulc‘s comment?

Yeah. I agree. Totally uncalled for and inappropriate.

Even the quality of haters has gone down hill. He missed the fact that I’m No Big Deal also marks his pics.

On the positive side of things, it’s nice to know that some non-photographers visit the contest threads.

And finally, holy moley! This week has some awsome entries.

Aww we had a troll and I missed it?

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those contests where if its close its good and just hope the voters like you.

    This.

    Well phuq….

Congratulations, U-Man, on the win this week! 😆

Nice. I’m not feeling the magic though. I don’t have picked out yet.

Pfft…like that ever mattered before! 🙂

The huge watches are distasteful. We get it, Swatch sponsors volleyball. You don’t have to wear three farking watches.
On the same note, how dare he not use an Olympus camera?

The stitching on the American flag is awful.

I’d like to think someone leaked these early in protest of how over-processed and ridiculous sports portraiture has been lately.

    Giant watches are hideous.

Yeah that makes sense. I just cant seem to get much closer than that around here and cropping enough to make the bird the main thing made the picture tiny. Basically I need a better zoom lens than the EFS 55-250 1:4 5.6 I currently have.

    Edited for punctuation.

To do “serious” birding, one needs at least a 300mm on a APS-C, 400mm on FF, an extender doesn’t hurt either. Naturally, the five thousand plus dollars for such lenses tend make that a little…ah, daunting.

All of my entries were shot on my 70-200 f4L, but I cheated: I went to shows and zoos where I could get up close and personal with the birds. I enjoy photographing birds, it’s challenging and the results can be stellar, but the whole endeavor is far out of my price range I couldn’t see it with the Hubble.

2 of mine are zoo shots and the hummie was taken out of the window in my camper.

Well I guess I should just not take pictures of Birds for Farktography anymore. Definitely not feeling any love for my shots this week. Did I really suck that bad with all three?( you can be honest it won’t hurt my feelings anymore than having my pictures completely being ignored.) I expect to wear out my thumb again this week. So at least my pics will have 2 votes each. lol

Honestly, bird photos where the bird does not make up the majority of the image don’t have a lot of visual impact. Your shots are more landscapes that happen to have birds in them rather than portraits of birds. If that makes any sense.

Wow, there are some really cool birds I’ve never seen before. I wish more people would’ve said what kind they are, if they knew.

I’m No Big Deal: That hummingbird is so cute & fluffy! We don’t have that kind here that I know of.

    Nice job, gang!

Thanks! The past few years the hummies haven’t been around when the blueberry bush is in bloom. I think in 09 the bush bloomed late and the hummies were early.

Hi guys, I need a ruling on this one, want to know if I’m stepping over some boundaries:

I would think that pushes the limits of Farks gore guidelines.

Oh, and I’m No Big Deal found my instant-vote subject. The 67 Chevelle. *lust*

I’ve had a few of them, sadly not in a long time. There’s a few crappy pics on my facebook.
