ParticipantIt’s not in Godaddy’s TOS (they’re probably big enough that they just don’t care.)
I can’t say if they really care, but: “You shall at all times use the Services as a conventional and/or traditional website. […] Specifically by way of example and not as a limitation, you shall not use the Services as: (i) a repository or instrument for placing or storing archived files; and/or (ii) placing or storing material that can be downloaded through other websites. “

ParticipantI don’t know how much most providers care, but using a web hosting account as file storage for backup purposes (unconnected to a web site) is, at least in many cases, a violation of their TOS, so I would be extremely wary of relying on it.

ParticipantYou can also dramatically improve the stability of a tripod by keeping it low. Not extending the center column helps a lot, and you can also leave the leg sections collapsed and/or (assuming your tripod allows it) extend the leg angle so it’s wider than normal.

Participant-if you’re viewing your own profile you can’t make an update on that page, you have to go back to the stream (you can make a post from your own wall on FB)
I have a share button in the very top right of the page that appears to allow this from pretty much anywhere in the googleverse, including my own profile.

ParticipantAs it happens I have two rolls of ASA 200 film, I’ll try for shots in shadowy areas; it’s a full sunny day and the shutter *theoretically* only goes to 1/300th second.
Even if 1/300 is closer to 1/125 you should be fine with 200 speed film in full daylight @F16, as long as you’re using negative film. It’s generally pretty tolerant of overexposure – the rated speed is generally the fastest speed that will give good results, but many negative films actually look a little bit better shot somewhat under their rated speed anyway.

ParticipantTurns out my general lack of taking photos of people fails to prove that Sleeping and Ennuipoet were actually here, but dammit, they were and we had funs and lols.

ParticipantNo, I’ve actually skipped a fair bunch of contests.

ParticipantWhy not?
Because the photography gods will surely smite anyone who uses it?

Most likely, although it may take some time for it to get done depending on how active the mods are, what they’ve been drinking, and such.

ParticipantI think I may need professional help! Or a bigger apartment.
No, you need more cameras 😉
