I spent a good half hour tying a knot and making my fingertip turn purple.
The idea was I’d make it look like a suicide, with my other hand coming in and looking shocked jazz style. Everything was looking good until I looked at it on my computer and it just didn’t look very purple thanks to my stupid ruddy complexion. That, and I started losing feeling in my fingertip. There’s a gross crease in my callous now too. And, on top of that, the shot I took of a red and blue stapler couple with purple stapler babies came out looking like an orange and purple couple with fuchsia / magenta babies. Stupid translucent plastic! SO I HAVE NOTHING! NOTHING AT ALL! And I have a final today! ON MAYDAY! Which isn’t just pun-wise bad, there’s also a march right in front of my school.

The other downside of that much sensor cropping is that a soft lens with purple fringing looks even softer, more purple, and shot by a webcam when shot by a webcam.

I broke down and used an adapter.
It fits a tiny bit too close, but if everything is set as loose as it can be, it works.

That aside, HOLY MOTHER OF FSM THAT IS SOME SERIOUS SENSOR CROPPING.

It’s also really hard to use. My widest lens (8mm) acts like at least 80mm. The only lens I have with a tripod collar is a 400mm. Guess what that looks like. IT LOOKS LIKE BLURRY CLOSE UPS OF STUFF!
No wonder only astronomers do this.
