as babelfish probably won’t translate “runderklootzak”, I suspect that this might end the awful dutch – mine included. 😉

Zij maken beter alles.
De nietmachines zouden de wereld moeten beslissen!

The one feature I wish I wish I wish Canon would give us is the ability to easily do a manual white balance. Shooting video I’m used to holding up a white sheet of paper and pressing a button, boom I’m white balanced. Canon forces us to switch to RAW, take a picture of some white paper, go into the menu and navigate to the white balance selection menu, select that picture, then go into playback and delete the picture and set shooting mode back to JPG (if you’re a mostly JPG shooter like me). It’s freaking ridiculous. Here’s my proposal: Holding down the WB button for 2 seconds automatically switches to manual white balance and uses the next shot you take to set the manual white balance without writing it to the memory card. The “old” way would still be available if you want to keep several white balance shots on file.

It’s doubly annoying because it’s been on their powershots for years.

I’d like to see 8 SD or CF in RAID 5, or at least 2 in 0. God knows they’re cheap enough now.
It could sit on the hotshoe, since anyone shooting that fast wouldn’t be using a flash anyway.

Nikon’s alternating between two cards is still the best option right now, which is a little sad.

    I’m obligated to suggest Skype…

I want to call you a soulless corporate whore, but all I can think is “man, I want a 5D”.

I think the quality of our keepers improves with time.

as with our girlfriends, so with our pictures?

So that’s why I’ve got nothing lately.

Were you using a lens hood or any filters?

Canon seems to really hate 3rd party autofocus, and lens flare in particular always seems mess it up just enough so it looks in focus on the itsy bitsy lil lcd.

Do you have examples of it being in focus and looking nice at similar settings?

how about a large garden like the ones at Versailles or the local ones that surround the museum or whatever. in other words it doesn’t have to be yard sized.

I support this. My support has nothing to do with the stupid farking squirrels that chewed up my farking sunflowers, tomatoes or the stupid farking kid that mashed my farking hostas with a freaking basketball EVEN THOUGH THERE’S NO FARKING BASKETBALL HOOP ANYWHERE NEAR THEM!

someone stapled to a rudder then?

it’s vacation season, so you are herewith cordially invited to crash at my place for a week…in holland you can’t get through town without tripping over any number of boats.

Please, no rudder shots. I’ve heard about the Dutch.

We could vote on which photos are great and which photos are great for photoshop separately, and have people post their stuff in the forum well before the contest so the photoshoppers have more time to work.

I can’t support this until Feb. 18, 2015 or when the Treaty of Ghent is repealed!
“Status quo ante bellum”, my ass! James Madison was a pansy! Those wimpy federalists hate America!

    That said,
I’m sure plenty of people would be happy to post for you, if you aren’t conveniently able to post yourself.

(Personally I’m open to changing the time, but, I just wanted to use this as an excuse to let Canada know that I fully support resumption of hostilities to shut them up about how they kicked our ass back in the early 1800s, and to get my grubby mitts on their precious oil, timber and fisheries.)

How is a Barbie Doll lying in a pile of rubble or a childs push cart in some brush ” SUBSTANTIAL SIZE” not to be random trash?
    Please excuse my venting.

Every farktography contest someone doesn’t post a picture of a wang in a bowl of skittles I consider a wonderful success.

Also, stupid rain, stupid humidity, stupid lack of talent, and stupid lazy bum.

*sighs, takes a deep breath, cheers up*

    But great work everyone else!
