ParticipantSo apparently fark no longer likes picasa. I can’t post any images from there at all. Here’s the message fark gives me:
Throwing away URL (insert url here) due to SSL warning: Peer hostname match with certificate not verified: 403 Forbidden
Guess I’m stuck with flickr now.
What? Error403?

ParticipantI believe that was disabled a long time ago, because there were issues regarding the ability to moderate all the avatars for content….

ParticipantThanks, RAV. I can see the difficulty that you propose. I feel I have a strong set, but having them divided by one or two other shots probably would diminish the effect.
Would you look them over and give me some feedback? (anybody)? Thanks

ParticipantHey! Over here! Umm, yes, my question is this…have there been in the past, three closely related photos, sort of a photojournalistic entry, and if so, how well was this approach received?
Thanks for your consideration.July 9, 2011 at 11:52 pm #30899yrkddn
ParticipantCISS, love the BiblioStats, but I can’t seem to track myself (my progress) throughout my stay. I see it happen above, but you seem to be offering the info. Is the code proprietary, excluding me from tracking my complete progress (NTTAWWT)?
Got it now. And apparently there for a while I was having a bit of trouble with the rules.
Thanks for making such a useful tool.

ParticipantGreat shot! And the possibility of Photography as income stream is very cool. Best of luck!

ParticipantPlama, I have the 35mm ?1.8, and it is a very clean, sharp lens, but Sleeping is quite right about the equivalent value. Clearly your 18-105 is wider, but Nikon has never packed a kit with a “fantastic” lens. I feel like I’m a victim of unrequited “lens envy”, as my budget doesn’t allow for either a full frame camera, or a wide lens below 18mm.

ParticipantSo obviously I’ve been “digital” way too long. As I was re-reading Orionid’s last post I realized that some portion of F’tographers must be using film, in fact I’m sure I’ve seen comments referring to using archived film prints. Are these entrants required to identify their entries as such? Can hairs be split that many ways?
