You can also use your computer to make regular shots look like holga shots. I know gimp has a script that will let you make holga looking shots and Im assuming photoshop probably has that as well.

ok, then i have no clue, ive just had dell tell me my harddrive was shot enough times when it wasnt that i figured id suggest the live cd thing.

I have no clue about recovering pictures from the memory card but if the harddrive isnt completely shot and you just cant boot your computer you might be able to get the pictures off the harddrive by booting from a live cd.

I think in farktography thinking about strategy too much is just going to get you in trouble.

Ive never had any problems with carrying a camera through security, although ive never taken a lot of lenses with me but i doubt the number will matter as long as they fit in your carry on bag. For the flight i just put my camera in a backpack and tuck it under my seat figuring my camera would be less likely to get jostled around or anything there.

It wasnt too crowded when I was there, there were always a good number of people around in the main area but it was never hard to get up to the edge and take pictures or anything.

Never even or odd’s entry from 12:15:03 AM is a repeat from the path less taken contest. I made a post in the comments thread about it a couple hours ago but im not sure anyone noticed or what else to do when people post repeats.

Although Ive never used a D200, Ive had a D50 for close to a year now and Ive been very happy with it. The only issues Ive had with the D50 are that I havent been really happy with the autofocus(although Ive pretty much always used manual focus so this isnt much of an issue for me) and the focus ring is a little loser than I would like it to be which caused me to accidently take some out of focus shots when I was first getting used to the camera because Id change the focus just a little bit when I was taking my hand off it. I have no clue if the D200 uses the same lenses as the D50 so this might not even be an issue for you but neither of these issues has bothered me close enough to even get me to consider changing cameras.

Also from what Ive heard theres a large selection of quality 3rd party lenses for nikon cameras as well so when you combine those lenses with the ones nikon makes you should have a large selection of lenses to chose from.

Lovesandwich, dont feel bad, the first time I saw someone mention the fsm here I was trying to figure out what the flying spaghetti monster had to do with farktography as well.

Honestly, I don’t vote for the staplers, they’ve become a bit too cliche and obvious for me. The “It’s A Trap” of Farktography if you will.
