ParticipantHey! That’s my face you’re talking about!
It isn’t your face that’s creepy, it’s what you’re doing with your eyes Good stuff 😉
Very cool effect for sure. And to every one else, wow!I saw a bunch of very cool pictures.Makes me wish I lived near a big city again.

Participantthe timer was one of the very first things I figured out could be useful.way back during the self portraits contest.back then my tripod was more like a fairly level spot on a log.

ParticipantI gotta remember #s 1 2 and 4.I already noticed the extended center tube thing.I plan on upgrading to a DSLR as soon as possible.need to budget for that one I think.I have already been practicing #4.I took about 50 pictures for the From A Distance contest.

ParticipantI’m moderately surprised that my shot of Briana and Leo isn’t doing better than it appears to be – anyone else ever think that their tastes in their own photos might be really, really skewed compared to vox populi?
Dunno…maybe you need more toddler?
Seriously, though, I love that lightning shot, Caradoc. And Flavivirus‘s Tokyo and the tower in China. And Morningbreath‘s lone tree. And farking_clever‘s Mt. McKinley. And mattietoldhattie‘s Mt. Fuji. And lokisbong‘s Castle Rock. And jimpoz‘s Vegas. Damn, just too much good stuff, people 😀
thank you .yours were very cool too.the majority of the pics this week are very good. 😀

corsec67 I am awed by the view in the Calgary tower shot.and I cant forget the shot Elsinore posted of Mohammed Ali Center, Louisville, KY.thats cool I didn’t even see him until I read the second half of your commentlokisbong
ParticipantI’ve got a shot of a farm in the distance I took about a month ago. I kinda like it but a significant part of the photo’s composition is the sunset. Given this week’s ‘difficulty’ of no sunsets, do you guys think it would be appropriate? If so, I can always save it.
That is one heck of a sunset!Awesome red color. It does sorta overpower the farm if you want my extremely uneducated opinion.Uneducated in photography at least.

ParticipantIts surrounded by trees unless I drive up a steep gravel road about ten miles away up the side of a mountain. But it is food for thought.Might be a better shot for the From A Distance contest.
thanks for the advice.I think I could use as much as possible.

ParticipantThat is very cool.but i dont know any fire jugglers and i like my hair.I was thinking signing my name in laser .the one above is the lights from Pelican Bay Prison on clouds from my mom and dads place about a mile or so away.
