Where the heck have you been hiding? 🙂

I went from internet quirky to serious mental illness, but I’m working my way back.

Oh man, hope all is well now. Glad to have you back.

Keep your old prescription bottles, fill them with capsules full of sugar or whey protein or whatever (purebulk.com is awesome), keep it in your camera bag.

Then, when someone hassles you, start muttering to yourself, look them in the eye for a bit like you don’t think they can see or hear you, keep muttering, pour some pills into your mouth straight from the bottle, chew, exhale some sugar/whey/whatever in an angry sigh, cough, have something to drink, then get back to photographing while muttering.

You’ll have saved yourself a conversation and gotten a bit of nutrition too.
They also make caffeine snuff now, if you think snorting something would work better in your area.

Where the heck have you been hiding? 🙂

Is there any way that the powers that be at Fark can give you the authority to close threads? That would seem to be the best way to stop any issues.

This may be a problem for me… gonna have trouble getting a parent to allow me to cover their kid in napalm…

tasteless, I know… better than the Kent state reference that came to mind…

this one’s going to give me fits over fits.

I used this in the last contest.

I doubt I will venture out mid storm. I’m not that young and stupid anymore. Definitely will be out looking for some destruction shots afterwards though!

I have no issues pushing it off. It will give me more time to wait till the last minute to shoot. B&W is a good substitution.

I shoot almost always at ISO1600 on the D7000. For most web sizes it is very good. If I were shooting something that was for print or larger uses I would probably go lower but really ISO 1000 is as good as my 50d was at ISO400.
Those shots don’t look too bad at all, maybe slightly over noise reduced but nothing to be ashamed of.

This was one of the rare themes I went out and shot for, granted it was a quick ten minute stop and shoot, but it was done with the theme in mind, mostly because I didn’t want to sift through the archives to find bokeh. The last time I shot for a specific theme was Volcanoes, Waterfalls, and Mountains and I came in 1st on that one. The one good thing about being a prolific shooter is that I probably have something for most themes, but all the wins I have were shot specifically for that weeks theme.
