Had a dream, saw a truck, took a picture. Unfortunately, I woke up. I’ll put together something. Maybe I’ll use one of my crappy ISS shots.

Incidently, I ran across this shot while clearing out the archives, which based on my current trend, will take till 30 years after I’m dead, if someone is willing to carry on till then. One of those “Damn!–wish I used it” shots (well, to me, voters might disagree.)

Fortunately, it’s at Rio Salado Park, and I may use it there. Or not. Not normally a fan of high-key in ‘landscape’, but maybe…

I’m fairly certain from test runs with orionid earlier this year that 2 is right out. 1 and 3 are much more on target. Intimacy in a small landscape is the general idea. Of course, I could be totally wrong. We drinks, ya know (though work keeps interfering with that, dammit…and that astrophotography stuff–takes up so much time…)

There’s some really nice stuff this week, but I have to say I’m a bit disappointed with the b&w’s. They just don’t say ‘rust’ to me. :o(

I think tin rusts fairly conventionally, U-Man (elsewise, I’ll need to pull my rusty can and replace it with something in the morning.) I almost posted the one of the Tin Roof, Rusted (didn’t have the heart to go there, though).

(though the wiki tells me tin cans are made mostly of steel)

So items in this contest could include hand shadows of animals, stuffed animals/ puppets, statues, clouds that look like animals, etc., correct? Just so long as it’s not a real animal or a bi-product thereof?

Some of those are really awesome (grasshopper rider! Gay!); and a couple are clearly shopped (though still cool compositions).

I like the crescent lens flare one, hunches; but the one is is lovely, too, with those colors.

I really hate to bitch, esp. as I didn’t take the time to do this contest, but can we pwease has somethins added to the hoppa? I’m covered for/in rust, but thereafter, no clue.
