I guess theme parks could fit loosely. soosh, I’m sorry if this contest was unfair to you, it wasn’t intended to be.

I dug waaay back into my slides- some 27 years back to be precise, to April of 1981, to show y’all why I *don’t* collect things. Back before I had wide-angle lenses or anything more sophisticated than a point-and-shoot camera.

I think I’ve got a theme ‘set’ of pics for this one – a theme within a theme.

I’ll bet your house is all tidy.

hardly 🙂 Not with 8 grand kids running around periodically.

But what I find hard to believe is that I am ahead of you in the ‘most votes recently’ category. That’s inconceivable, since your stuff is usually so much better (or at least popular) than mine.

    That does just feel—-broken, somehow.

On mine, the FSM says “Neon. Details and r” in the list of contests…

I see we’ve found some new way to break it.

I have a whole list of places like that, U-Man- I see them in my minds’ eye, but can’t quite get the photo to work.

On the participation level thing, would it be possible to take those from a sliding window of say, the last 52 contests, or maybe 26… I’m thinking a year or 6 months is a good enough time to determine someones overall interests, and participation, while letting folks who drop out eventually fall back in the stats.

That reminds me. Is there any way I can sweet-talk you into making my first contest entry disappear? I entered on picture on a whim back in 2005 that has totally dorked my statistics. I’m actually active now 😛
/totally understood if that’s against the rules.

I could wish for this as well 🙂
