Let me explain.

I just taped some black string to the back of a stapler and hung it from the ceiling.
The original idea was to make it look like a blue background over some grass using a towel.

But you could clearly see the string.

So I tried a darker sheet and a different angle, but then the green towel was too bright and reflected green on everything to mess up the color balance, and really brought out the tape.

Then I trimmed down the tape, used a lil stand for a mountain instead of grass, then wrinkled up the background and fiddled with the lighting and levels until the string wasn’t as visible. But then tape couldn’t hold the string where it needed to make the flying pose better.

Make a potato canon and shoot packing foam into the crowd. People love that.
And if someone gets in your way, shoot a potato at them.
Unless they have cops where you live, then you might want to stick to being ignored.

Powerstrips do NOTHING!

You’ll get sharper pictures with manual focusing with practice. Until then, the dof guide is your friend.
A tot stapler on a string swaying in front of a propped up book makes for great focusing practice at huge apertures. You should drag 3 tires behind you and run 5 miles on wet sand before you practice. Or at least try to focus when you’re tired and shakey.

Also, you’re got waaaay more color depth now, fiddle with the levels, you’ll be shocked. You’ll also notice that the range goes down as ISO goes up.
