ParticipantWell deserved win by Ranger Joe, lots of great shots from all as usual. Good to see the participation and voting rebound a little now that the holidays are over.

Participant10-4, this is an older processing from a while back and figured it was out of bounds but wanted to check since it was the sepia contest. I’ll see if I like it as much w/o the light vignette this weekend.

Participanthunches, you got TF.
And apparently I have yet another to give away that I never used… so still two TF’s up from grabs between me and fluffybunny!

ParticipantA bit over processed??

ParticipantSpeaking of TF gifts, seems I’ve got one to give away. First Farktography Lite’r that responds gets it. 🙂

ParticipantI’m No Big Deal, diggin the low wide-angle look. 🙂

ParticipantHaving to go back and reprocess some photos for this one, was a bit post-crop vignette happy with some of my shots from the one and only car show I have photos from.

ParticipantOkay, and now for a few more new shots.
But first, a reprocess of the tree above:

And a B&W HDR shot taken tonight:

And shot that’s actually almost completely composed of man-made things!

ParticipantThis may be the first and only time all three of my entry’s subjects are all living breathing beings. Until at least we have a portraits theme. Good to get out of the comfort zone a little bit. Now I’ve got to shoot a self portrait for a G+ project… let the atypical photography theme continue!

ParticipantYoyo – no need for the ‘touristy’ experience. Wife and I much prefer the true local experience and the best food when traveling. 🙂
Was actually thinking of a mid-late spring trip back out to the western direction, this time with the Cir-Pol filter triple-checked in the gear.

ParticipantYoyo, I would have indeed enjoyed a stop had you been in town. We did stop in Las Cruces for lunch on Thursday afternoon at Andele. Probably the best guacamole I’ve ever had (wife agrees too) and I’ve lived in Texas all my life and visited many parts of the South West.
I didn’t get too many shots during the trip, but managed to get a few at rest stops and out the side window now and then.

(somewhere in western Az)I’ll post a few in the Gallery when I get the rest of the photos processed.

ParticipantGood luck, but I’d forget about the Nikon/Canon thing. It’s all about the photographer, or says the guy with a 4-models old Canon Rebel XSi.

ParticipantI three-way tied with myself for 5th. lol
Great entries all around, the top of the contest was indeed tightly contested and rightfully so.

ParticipantNo shots from me this week. I’ve been visiting the inlaws and now on the road. Looking forward to seeing this week’s entries when I get home.
