That may be the most grain I’ve seen on any photo. Ever. Sorry for that.
After 20 years I returned to the church of my childhood. We are mental spiritual and physical beings. Correct? I thought I was going to show you some of my physical and some of my spiritual. But the mental took over and failed.I love your guy’s pictures.

dgough: I have no idea what’s up with your pumpkin shot. I see it just fine here.
I know what you mean. It’s here fine here but nothing I do will work there. Baffling.
I had to post my fave on Imageshak. Blech!

August 12, 2008 at 5:23 pm #17621dgoughParticipantHi Yall,
The Canon S-3 IS has a switch in it to isolate one color and make everything else black and white. Another little trick it does is to pick two colors and swap them. Like making a stop sign grassy green. Since they are done “in camera” does that make them compliant?
July 24, 2008 at 4:51 am #17297dgoughParticipant200k or thereabouts is the limit. Try resaving is as a lover quality jpg in Photoshop, or whatever you use. Complex images with lots of detail are the hardest to shrink.
Thank you. I shrunk the picture to 35k, and it still won’t post. And now it throws a different error.
Its late and I’m going to bed. I haven’t been through the whole thread yet but my quick preview show some incredible work.
If anyone here is interested here is a link to the three I would have posted.

I’ll come back and play some other time when I have more time.
Thanks again
July 24, 2008 at 4:31 am #17294dgoughParticipantI don’t understand why I’m getting this error.
Image file is too large: http://ponkey.com/pix/albums/userpics/normal_IMGP6007.png: 403 Forbidden
The image is 400 x 295 and 277k. This is the first time I’ve tried posting from a Coppermine gallery.
Am I missing something?TIA
July 8, 2008 at 8:38 pm #17011dgoughParticipantI’ve just come to the conclusion that I don’t have a favorite word, or phrase…Period….I’m in quite a pickle for this challenge…I seriously doubt that I’ll have anything to post this week. 🙁
unless you use “Period” 🙂
This thread is fine with no pictures

February 9, 2008 at 9:29 pm #14869dgoughParticipantI’ve been trying to hone my skills
I’m sure if you stick to it your photos will be a cut above. Although if they’re too good others might shoot daggers at ya.

October 8, 2007 at 9:44 pm #13869dgoughParticipantSome friends are trying to talk me into selling stuff. I assume many in here that don’t already make a living at it hear that alot.
“Your stuff is so beautiful you should make money doing this.” I like it being a toy. I like it being a hobby. I’m afraid that if I tried making a living taking pictures, it would become work.Never mind there are SO many better. Like this guy I know in Divernon,IL. 😉

June 19, 2007 at 9:09 pm #11593dgoughParticipantI started out digital. wifey bought me a Vivitar P&S. Awesome. But I threw it down the stairs with my dirty laundry. Oops. So next birthday she bought me a Nikon CP2100. Cool. Decent pix. Then I wanted more zoom and I saved for a while then went and bought my current camera. A Canon S3IS. WOW! 6MP pix, 12x optical zoom and all kinds of manual shooting modes. I got my eye on a Pentax K10. I’m 80% sure that will be my next.
*** UPDATE ***
As of yesterday, 10-1-07, I own a Pentax K10D. I find it amazing how this woman loves me. You’ll hatfa ask her as to why. We bought a kit from Adray Camera in Dearborn , Mi. Body and two lenses for $1000. f4-5.6 18-55 and f3.5-5.6 50-200. We saw the D30 and the new D40 but since this is my first SLR this package with two lenses was a good start. Here’s a few of the many taken over the last 24 hours.JP
June 19, 2007 at 8:44 pm #11407dgoughParticipantoh great. “hey everyone! let’s all get drunk and take pictures of ourselves masturbating!”
