The only thing I would say is if you pull from the archives it should be something that is local to you. Not something you shot while on a road trip and only passed one time, but something that you pass many times.

Yeah I have so many neat pictures of Mt. Rainier since you can see it from just about everywhere here but I didn’t think I could use them because it wasn’t something “new” per se.

Oh cool, that helps me too. I was really not happy with one of the pictures I took for this week but I didn’t really have anything else I could think of to shoot since I live in strip mall wasteland.

Well I wrote about 2000 words today. But I lose next Fri/Sat/Sun to work because I’m a retail support supervisor so yeah I doubt I’ll have time for much other than work, eat, shower, sleep so I have to really make the push to finish by Wednesday. Gratz to you, you’re in the home stretch!

When I have written before I do a lot of going back and rereading to keep myself on track and consistent but I have resisted that urge and not reread anything I have written yet for this project. I am prepared to be amused when I read it through at the end and see how far I’ve veered or how inconsistent I’ve been with some of the details hehe.

Ugh I don’t even want to think about my Nano novel. I’m stuck around 27,000 words and I know where I want to go but I don’t know how to get there yet.

I dreamed it was suddenly Wednesday and almost time to post for the contest, but because of the poor quality of the last two weeks of my life, I had neglected to acquire the requisite components for the homemade IR filter I had been planning to make and instead grabbed up the only logical thing I could find to use as a filter, took 10 pictures and only one of them looked even remotely intelligible.

Oh wait…that wasn’t a dream… ><

Although it shows you just how bad the Browns are this year, when both Arizona and Cincinnati put up more than 40 points on the Bears D, and Cleveland manages only 6…

I thought about submitting one of my 2 rainbow pics in black and white because they look really cool as the bow is very vivid. But then I thought people wouldn’t like missing out on the colors. If I could have color popped them that really had an impact. Maybe I’ll link them later.

My 2 entries this week will come from scans of old school photos I took with a 1972 Kodak Instamatic unless we agree that rainbow colored objects are ok :/ which we can totally do by all means, I just wish I knew how to clean the photos up more because naturally they aren’t the best clarity. But, they are really cool.
