Ok seriously, is it that hard to refrain from using text or photos that have been used before when there’s so much else you can do? What does anyone else think?

With how stupid my idea is, yes.

So to lobby for the use of text we allowed brushes to be used last time, so I think you should at least be allowed to use brushes to write words on the pictures.

I think I’ll stick with my vote from before that while neat, scanner art stretches it a little too far for these contests and can lead to a slippery slope for what is and isn’t allowed.

Only thing I’ve noticed was some long submit times too. That’s been going on for quite awhile, I figured it was cause I was talking too much…

I get that from time to time too, I always assumed my computer was just being slow again whenever that happens. Occasionally the forum still marks topics as unread after I read them, but that doesn’t happen anywhere ofter enough to bother me either.

While working on this…I have another rules/regs type question.

Can we have two different colors popping at once, or does it have to be the same color?

I can’t provide an example yet…my materials are not all here yet…

It has to be one object or color so as long as the colors are on the same object it would be fine.

The main advantage to not scheduling more than 5 or so weeks in advance is that if someone suggests a theme thats popular but goes with a specific time of year we can get it scheduled at least close to that time of year. If we scheduled 10 weeks in advance and someone came up with a really good winter contest now it might not be until spring that we could fit it in without rescheduling.

I put in the 3 you posted for Gimmlette in defunct, I think it should get changed the next time the fsm does the update. Were there any others?

Would be great if the OBO thing was implemented! I still have 2 contests that need to be fixed and hate to bug people about it.

I think I still have the link for fixing those somewhere if you want me to update it.
