Making a flickr group for this might be the easiest way, although a bunch of people would either have to sign up for flickr or just have someone else upload their pictures to the photostream of someone with a flickr account. As much as I like the idea of not being able to pick your own photos, it might be a lot easier for everyone interested to nominate 5 or so of their own photos, maybe 10 for u-man, and then start voting on photos from that pool with the limitation that you can’t vote for your own photos just to make it easier than telling people to pick 5 or 10 from the 35999 photos that have already been used.

I was a yearbook editor in high school and college, as well as publishing my own things through blurb.com so I’m somewhat familiar with this sort of process.

It’s actually 4 photos of the same subject put together and blended in PS.

I’m definitely for allowing that based off of how cool it looks.

The farktographer groupings are based off of how often you compete in the contests and I think how long you’ve been a farktographer with ultrafarktographers being the most active.

On second though after looking through the booze contest again, unless the rules have changed the cigarette may be ok since there were a couple of quite young kids with beer and liquor bottles in their mouths.

I am going to do at least one landscape. But b&w is so good for dark, depressing, wrong, harsh photography that I want to do some shooting specifically with this mood. I had in mind a kid (one of mine) smoking a lit cigarette. Do you guys think this is tolerable? I mean, I don’t want to cross the ‘OK line’, y’know. I’m going to do some sort of specific moody b&w portrait – I just like ’em.

The posting rules on fark say you can’t post illegal content of any kind which that might fall under, although I’m pretty certain I’ve seen images of other illegal activities in other threads, but they may be stricter about kids. Unless you’ve been giving one of your kids massive amounts of growth hormones recently to make it so they can pass for 18.

If you have an independent camera shop near you I’d take it there and see if they’ll look at it quickly, I’ve gotten my camera cleaned twice for free in about 5 minutes from a small camera shop near me rather than paying to ship it away for 2 weeks like ritz wants to.

I’m not much of a beer person but I do have this case of Muscat here, from the Lava Cap vineyard. Wine is divine!

Its ok, I’ve gotten it narrowed down to a small 33, not counting that any of my shots from when I went to the grand canyon would fit the time theme.

Having just started going through my archives and going over the just over 200 contests that have happened since my boobies I’m becoming convinced that whoever suggested this just hates those of us who have been doing this for a long time and just wants to make our brains hurt.

I’d say just have people say what contest their pics wouldve been for. Especially since not even half of the entries are still up in some of the old contests
