I guess I am lucky to live in a tourist town. the worst reaction I tend to get is people apologizing for getting in my shot. A grumpy look or 2 maybe but never any actual hostility. If I am taking pictures of strangers I tend to make it look like I am taking their picture too. If I try to be sneaky the shot usually misses the target completely. That sucks you got the asshole type reaction.

Not bragging but I woke up this morning with more votes than I got all last week. Needless to say I was surprised and pleased.

This was just three random books that claimed to be coffee table books. all measurements in ye olde inches.

I would love to see even one of my 3 top ten pictures in a real printed book for sale even if I don’t make a penny on it this time. If I get in the book I will promise right now to buy one and probably a few more for my mom n dad.

All mine are archive shots from my point n shoot also. It’s gonna be a low vote week probably but I really like 2 of them and the third is pretty cool too I think. I used to take it to work because I didn’t do the driving from job to job.

Where does billiards or pool fit. Are they ok? According to wickipedia billiards is a game of skill so I think it is ok but wanted to be sure before the contest went live.

@Zero Exponent – Take a look at anyone’s Farktography history and you will find that there are usually some “bottom-of-the-barrel” images in our varying profiles.

I seem to have one only every couple weeks if I am lucky and the voters have been self medicating. If they’re off their meds I can have bad months.

I agree with all of your points Kestrana. Even the part about doing way worse this week than last week. I have been trying to not get bent out of shape about the votes lately. I was pretty bummed there for a while when I had a bad week but I have come to the realization that I will never figure out what the voters are wanting so I am just gonna post the ones I like and just say what happens happens.

I just couldn’t “fake” the rain so two of my shots are kinda boring after the rain pictures. I just didn’t think it would look or be right. Sprinkler rain didn’t feel right.
