ParticipantI am stuck with all archive stuff this week I have one I know is worth using. Not sure about more than that.

ParticipantI have to admit I was confused about the mount Tabor Comment till I looked it up. I thought you were talking about the Mount Tabor in Portland Oregon. That would have made no sense at all that I know of. “Mount of transfiguration” makes a bit more sense.

ParticipantI have been trying to figure out how to sell my photos just in general. My mom is a beautician and she has been letting me hang some framed 8 by 10 pics and I have sold a few . but so far the local light house is the only popular subject. I have sold 3 different shots of the Battery Point light house. Thanks for all the positive words everybody.

ParticipantThanks man and right now I have nothing but free time. Need a job bad. But these are so much fun to do. I would probably skip some sleep just to go do the light painting thing.
Dude, that is the most excellent light painting I have ever seen in my life.
Thank you very much! Its a blast to do for sure. I have been having a hard time thinking up new stuff to draw though. Inspiration will come soon I am pretty sure.

ParticipantIs the aftermath of the rain allowed, pictures of raindrops on leaves, flowers etc?
That would be really nice. I am not too keen on taking my gear out in the rain!
I also have been very reluctant to take my camera out in the rain. I am afraid if I use some kind of homemade baggy wrap or something it will leak. I am currently without job so buying the real thing is not an option. and I don’t even own an umbrella. That and all of a sudden it stopped raining here and I am not sure it will rain anytime soon. I have one good picture I don’t remember using in any contest yet.

ParticipantOn the plus side I am 99% sure I only sprained my ankle. It feels a lot better so I will probably go back tonight or tomorrow and do some more light painting. If the weather decides to behave. I even have a friend willing to help draw stuff and give some suggestions on stuff to draw (I hope he has some ideas).

ParticipantThank you. I need to think up some new things to draw though. The hard part is getting lines to touch when you are just trying to remember where your hand was a minute ago. It is a lot of fun. I get a kick out of what people must think when they see me out on the beach running around with some leds looking like a moron at a one man rave. I certainly don’t care what they think. lol What I mean there is I don’t care if they think I am weird.

ParticipantNot a problem for me. I haven’t gotten around to learning how to do stacked exposures yet. Thats next on my list of things to learn. I think most of mine will be light painting. I have been going out late at night and trying to draw actual things instead of abstract stuff. I think I have a few that will do ok. Most of my choices are already on Flickr. i just need to decide which ones get used.
