ParticipantElsinore the picture of the guy with the cross on a training wheel almost made me spit cough drop juice on my desk I was laughing so hard. Way funny.
I really like this theme and vow to go out and get more people doing every day stuff.lokisbong
ParticipantI have gone through my archives rather thoroughly and all I can find are car show and fair pictures where nobody I know is in the picture. This towns people don’t believe in being pedestrians. I just uploaded 5 pictures to my flicker stream in the hopes I can use three of them.

ParticipantI think it needs to be relaxed. Just shots of strangers in a city. How hard is that?
I think that would be a great description if I get a say.

ParticipantWould fire fighters at a practice fire be acceptable? There were not to many bystanders that I got pictures of and one shot I have already used of the drunk guy being hauled off in cuffs but lots of pictures of the fire fighters in action and in inactive states also.

ParticipantLooking through my archives for this theme, I realize it might be quite hard for people that don’t live in large cities, since almost all of my potential entries involve trains or subways.
Participants in a Zombie walk are pretty similar to a street performers.
People build a sandcastle would be fine.
You are very right about it not being easy to get candid street photos in this small town. Very few pedestrians normally. other than the two car shows per year and the 4th o July people tend to just drive every where. I have never seen a Zombie walk except on the tubes ( You and boob varieties)but they look like fun.

ParticipantYeah I know what ya both mean. I got one vote shy of my worst choice last week for all three this week.

ParticipantI suspect I’m going to be doing a lot of clicking when it comes time to vote this week.
Me too. Lots of great shots this week

ParticipantI think “snow”is the white stuff that never shows its face here in coastal northern California. I have to drive at least 20 miles right now to maybe find snow and that isn’t happening with my trucks transmission still busted. that and the rain we have been getting has probably melted all the snow within a hundred miles.

ParticipantI hope so soosh because at least one of my ideas is sorta along these lines.

ParticipantYes that is cool with me Elsinore. I know of one I have for the reflections that has been at the top of the list for my favorite pics.

ParticipantWhat about organized street protests, parades, etc…?
Those would seem to be perfect to me.

ParticipantHmm there was a suggestion for a Reflections 2 theme recently. What if we did that for this week and put HDR the first week of April? That would maintain the roughly 6 week rotation for classic themes.
I’m cool with that.

ParticipantAs I said in the other thread I would have no problem with that. The weather sucks right now and I want to shoot some outdoors stuff for this.

Participantthe weather has been really bad here for shooting so I would not complain if the date moved a few weeks or a month.
