As long as it’s a light (e.g. it’s throwing photons around) and as long as it’s included in the picture and not merely off-camera or reflected, then it’s fair game.

Excellent use of words. I figured lasers were fine.
I wonder how many black lights we will see?

+1
I need the practice at this one.

I have been out once or twice and tried this. I think I have one good one so far and a bunch of blurry shots.

Hello, all. This is my first time posting. I hope I’m doing it right.

Hello and welcome . unfortunately you posted the pics to the wrong place but thats fixable. Just go here…http://www.fark.com/cgi/comments.pl?IDLink=4996891 and don’t forget to enable voting.

Thank you bucky_bacon I am still shocked that all of my entries this week are doing so good.

[lokisbong]

Heh. 130 click-throughs to flickr. 4 votes. I think that ratio sets a new record for me. And solidifies that no one else appreciates stereo photography. They don’t know what they’re missing.

Being blind in one eye means they don’t work for me either. I would love it if they worked but nope. no 3d movies either. At least not the old red/blue color separation type.

[lokisbong]

I am rather blown away by the votes my harbor picture is getting. I love it but didn’t think anyone else would like it.
I like the wide variety of subjects this time.

[lokisbong]

I am going to do every thing in my powers to get the week off I would need. Oh and save enough cash for all the beer and sleeping arrangements. how is the weather that time of year? Would camping in a tent be feasible?

[lokisbong]

I will agree with the wide angle thing with the 18-55 lens. That surprises me every time and yes the lack of long range sucks. I am pretty sure my powershot did as well with zoomed in pictures.

[lokisbong]

Holy shit is right! Thats wicked.

[lokisbong]

I can’t believe this theme was never done before.

I can’t believe it either. This contest is already a whole lot o awesome..

Note to self: Learn HDR.

Heh. This. lol.

lokisbong – if I ever knew you were in CA I forgot. Pretty crazy weather, eh?

Down right nasty! Its supposed to last through Saturday last I heard and me with a truck with a busted transmission and not enough money to fix it right now. go figure. Thank you by the way.
I also need some practice with HDR.

[lokisbong]

I do love my Canon Rebel xs. I am also quite happy with my Canon Powershot A560. It does pretty nice macro shots. Canon is the only name brand cameras I have owned.

[lokisbong]

I saw that in the HDR section and apparently have it already. I do not remember downloading it but it is there. Now I just need better weather to go take some pictures. We are in the middle of a gnarly storm here in northern California with 30 mph winds with gusts up to 60 mph and lots of rain. Its gonna be here until at least Saturday so…I wait.

[lokisbong]

I also wish her lots o luck!
