ParticipantIs it OK to post photos from the catacombs in Paris? Actual bones are involved…
Falls into “evidence of final rest” so I’d say it’s good to go.
I think what she’s really getting at is whether or not that’s ok for Fark given the usual prohibition against dead things. In this case, yes, skeletons/bones are ok; there’s no blood or gore involved. We’ve actually had at least one other Farktographer (monkeybort) post catacombs photos. Think hers were from Hungary.
That is exactly what I was getting at. Thanks!

Participantwell, the topic says “urban”. To me that means “city”. My question really pertains to the location of said art. if there is fantastic outdoor art on a farm in kansas, is that OK? or a small town somewhere or the suburbs…
urban is the code word for ghetto. you will have to travel into the most ghetto area you can reach in a 4 hour drive. anything else doesn’t count. and please be safe.
🙂
I guess the Gucci Ghetto up the street counts!

Participantso…not to be nitpicky…
how urban is “urban”?

ParticipantI assume “family members” is limited to humans? I’m in that pool of people whose closest “family” are my dogs and cats. 🙂

Participantwell, technically, paper is a 3 dimensional object…
But no, not photographs. I’m thinking stuff like old concert tickets, letters, wrapping paper, maybe bits of cut up photographs (that I’ve taken, so no copyright issues), etc. Maybe pressed flowers or buttons or fabric as well…
yes, no, maybe?

ParticipantI know that scanning existing photos is not within the theme but is using the scanner to essentially create a collage acceptable?

Participanti now have 3 and never used my original idea. two use the original items but while looking for their “pond” i found three other thing to make a group of. so once again the voters have a chance to tell me i failed 🙂
I noticed that no one ever really fails here. I’m usually impressed by everything, even if it’s for very different reasons. 🙂
