I can’t add to the night photography thing (still feeling that out myself), but I rarely DON’T use Photoshop or Irfanview to tweak my pics (probably my Photoshop contests background). Only three contests (SOOC, Recipe book, and the recent pinholes/lomos/crappy cameras” did none of the images get some treatment.
ParticipantSpeaking to the “video on a camera” thing… although I love my camera, I can’t help but look at the local camera store’s ads, and I notice there’s at least one Nikon designed to shoot full 1080p HD video. The others… not so much.
I don’t use the video on mine, but that’s mostly because I don’t think in video, I think in stills and photoshop.

Never Mind… got it.
FWIW – I followed your link back to your image’s Flickr page, and then replaced the image’s URL with the URL for the 500px wide version. The HTML re-sized the pic back to 640px for display purposes. Resolution may not be perfect, but at least the pic got posted.
BTW – I am always happy to OBO for anyone. I’m benefiting from your (you know who you are) TF, and it’s about the only way to pay it back to the community as a whole.

ParticipantIt’s amazing how bloody accurate that thing is for pretty much any forum surrounding an activity that requires some sort of equipment.
ParticipantThe Millie Jackson one and The Handsome Beasts are not even close to the same league as the rest of those. MJ and THB are just tasteless, while the others are largely bad photography, ugly people or unfortunate titles people with no sense of innuendo came up with. MJ and THB are actually pretty interesting photography, IMHO.
“My Pussy Belongs To Daddy” is in a league of its own. Read some of those song titles and tell me the cover ain’t totally appropriate. I actually want that album, now.
ParticipantDaniel, I’m not sure how familiar you are with the Photoshopping community on Fark, but one of them has had a lot of fun with morphing over time. He started out as “Traffic Cone of Silence” then became “i-dig” (which he still uses sometimes) but his current incarnation is “GbyP” which is short for “Guided by Pandas” (don’t ask).
What I’m trying to say is that, unless you’re as invested in your username as I am (17 years and counting, on this and numerous other forums) it might be fun to just adopt a new identity.
While it’s possible, if it became even occasional the demand would be HUGE.

I’m still undecided about dish #3… I still haven’t ruled out ramen noodles… we went to an Asian grocery over the weekend and I’ve got a few really interesting ones. Haven’t tried the curry chicken noodles yet…
