Don’t worry, whichever one you leave out will be the one that would have voted the best. 😛
/I try to be supportive where I can 😛
I don’t doubt that for a minute. Here’s the one that didn’t make the cut:

ParticipantArrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh
I have literally gigs and gigs of racing photos
plus I have a few good pics I took at a Washington Nationals game last fallNarrowed potential entries down to four but that last cut is killing me, I’ll probably be agonizing over it for the whole next hour till green light time.

ParticipantI think I had expressed interest in participating some time back; not sure if I’m still in the queue or not.
Not sure if my being a former New Englander helps in this department.

ParticipantI’ll go to low beams if I see headlights or taillights ahead of me. I’m not totally uncivilized.

ParticipantYou can have my fog light illumination when you pry it from my cold dead hands.
On the plus side, there’s like almost zero chance I’ll be in Arizona in the foreseeable future (though the missus spent her teen years in Mesa and we spent a long weekend in Phoenix back in 2003, it’s a nice place and I’d gladly entertain a return trip) so you’ll have to take care of the many locals assaulting your night vision before having to take action against those of us on the other side of the continent.

ParticipantFog lights aren’t supposed to be aimed “up of straight ahead”, they’re supposed to be pointed down and a little to the left and right to help illuminate the lines marking lanes in the road immediately in front of the car.
When my lights are on, the fogs are always on. I always say there’s no such thing as too much light when I’m driving. But my fogs are also factory-equipped and aimed correctly, so there shouldn’t be any glare to oncoming traffic. Obviously I can’t speak for everyone else’s equipment, though.

ParticipantGood stuf. I ventured into D.C. on Wednesday to try and capture the pink but it was already pretty green by then and I only made half a lap of the tidal basin before heading back towards the capitol and the missus’ office for a visit. Twas also overcast so colors were further muted and I was so let down that the pictures are still on the camera.

ParticipantI see a whole nuther tired dog/pensive cat contest

ParticipantI went to the dog park over the weekend with the kids and got frustrated because every time I had one in a good pose I’d get down on the ground and she’d take that as an invitation to come over and say hi. But sometimes they behave

Even got some action pics as well

I’ll echo the sentiment that dogs make for better pic taking when they’re tuckered

ParticipantI looked at the entries when I got home from work at 6:30AM and posted my entries, so I have to go back and see what’s been posted since then. But from what I’ve seen already the contest has far and away exceeded what I hoped it would be when I proposed the theme. Farktographers get to work and play in some very cool places and that they can show us those places with such quality shots is pretty neat. I think we did good this week.

ParticipantOn the plus side there is booze in the house, the missus does partake on occasion. Now if I could convince her to get plastered – you know, for photography’s sake – that would be the best weekend evar.

ParticipantMmmmmmmm pretzels
I haven’t had anything to eat yet today

ParticipantI had some pics that I could post as a couple of my buddies are cops in a northern NJ town but wow it seems to get harder and harder to work up the strength to go upstairs and fire up the PC that my archived pics are on. I mean they weren’t award-winning pics by a long shot (probably shot three or four years ago) but I would have had something up there at least.

ParticipantSo someone finally found a use for cats.
