Wow for whatever reason this thread never showed up orange for me:

Essayists: linguine, ravnostic PLEASE write something, get it to me by tomorrow. I need to turn a draft in to Drew tomorrow and I need more text.

By tomorrow[/i]!! 😯 But…it’s a worknight! I will bust my arse to get something put together. Good thing I had 4 years of essay skewling and 3 years of writing humorous or sometimes poignant blogs to fall back upon!

But I may need an editor… 😛 I usually like to sleep on it and re-review in the morning, but that’s not going to be possible here.

We can each write 10 sentences, put them together by alternating our sentences and call it an essay.

I think it would be fine if you allow us to make some “modifications” to it first.

I’ve been using 11.10 for a month or so now, I’ve been reasonably happy with it after switching back to gnome classic although I may switch back to kubuntu or give xubuntu a try the next time I upgrade. I agree that Unity is a horrible abomination that needs to go away though.

I finally heard back from my farkback sent on Sunday and they said theyre currently reviewing and updating the back end code and hope to be done that by the end of march and once thats done theyre willing to look at how the votes are tabulated for farktography and photoshop contests.

Interesting. I think that’s about the same time that I voted, but I swear it wasn’t me. I’m sure your data could probably identify involved parties, both gaining and losing, but I’d rather not know names at this point. Just another reason to go back to the old ways before we become farkbook.

Do these have to be done with actual holga/lomo etc lenses this time or can we do digital fakes again like the first time we did holga/lomo?

Or drill a hole through the fruit to tie it to the cross if its a cross you would get in trouble for destroying.
