Also, there are a couple other changes with the redesign I think you guys will like. Can you find them? 😉
Could we have been posting to 700 pixels?

ParticipantIf once is good, then twice must be better. I’m not sure how this happens. But it happens often with my posts.
There can never be too much caturday.

ParticipantI would go make some alts quickly to give you some more entries but I think theres people that will recognize my kitty from the number Ive used him for entries already.

ParticipantShould we provide links to bigger pics for the PSers or do they have the same size constraints?
Stay safe, Els and everyone else in the storm areas!
All pictures have the same size requirements so I don’t think theres any need or advantage for having larger versions just for caturday.

ParticipantI’d go for bag cat, the fisheye shot, and long cat.
While we’re throwing out possible entries, anyone have any suggestions from this set – http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/sets/72157622386003677/

ParticipantI’ll just skip that one then, water isn’t going to a problem for me.
it will for me.
I’ll trade you a water shot for something else(that doesn’t violate the rules too horribly right)

ParticipantI knew I had one other question. Would this be considered too much of a mix of water and air – http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/5594214280/
Sorry for the delay, I’m out of town again and have limited internet access.
I’d say that’s too much water for air, but I’d be OK with it as water. I’m thinking we should apply the same logic for cloudscapes here: Is the photo substantially different if the element in question is removed? And add to that a second test: Is there more than one element where the first question holds true? If the answer to the first question is Yes and the second is No, then I think it’s probably OK.
I’ll just skip that one then, water isn’t going to a problem for me.

ParticipantUnfortunately I used that one, otherwise that one wouldve been my example.

ParticipantSo how literal should we be with our interpretations for this. Would something like this with an orange sunset be stretching it too far for fire http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/4289636588/
Or how about something abstract like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/guine/5247944444/linguine
ParticipantDon’t forget that Oklahoma is OK! It says so right on our license plates.
I wonder if they got the same marketer as Prince George’s county in Maryland that decided to make the welcome signs as you enter the county say “Prince George’s County – A Livable Comminity”

ParticipantI’d lean towards allowing plants for earth too, I’ve seen them used for earth in lots of photos before.

ParticipantIm pretty certain that its the up to 4 option since everyone seems to agree with that.

ParticipantI was reticent for this one because I don’t have any cats, and if I step foot in a shelter I’m going to end up rescuing every last one of them. Luckily I’m house sitting for my mom this weekend and she has two cats, but they always flee when they see me. Think a bit of catnip would do the trick and get them all drugged up for good pictures? 😈
They should like you once you’ve fed them once or twice. Or you could just take shots of them while they’re waiting for that silly human to hurry up and feed them.
