ParticipantYeah, I heard about that but haven’t gone looking for it yet. I’d definitely be interested.

ParticipantPope I don’t blame ya entirely. It’s pretty early beta, so a fair amount of time & discussion is around the way the site works and sending feedback and the like (for me anyway, ’cause it’s fun)
ravnostic That’s interesting. I’ll have to look up his feed. I found a site the other day that lists the people with the most ‘followers’ and I know he was near, if not at the top. Zuckerberg is on there too, ironically, but I suspect his may an alt account (from what I’ve heard).

ParticipantI’m digging the ease at which you can direct conversations at groups of friends, but it’s going to take some getting used to. I’ve been using it pretty extensively for about a week and a half – I got my invite the Saturday after they turned on the switch.
Try the http://gplus.to thing though. It makes it easier to share link to your profile. That’s come in pretty handy a couple of times. (for example, I posted this thread from my phone and there’s no way I’d be able to type out my profile number on that)

ParticipantI like yours better than mine, orionid. I guess the snark was strong in me tonight.

ParticipantMy comment:
“I know you think it’s “okay” because it’s funny, and an awesome picture, but I honestly, seriously hope that some day someone makes a lol of your twelve-year-old daughter since you think that blatantly swiping other people’s work off the internet with no consideration is okay.”olavf
ParticipantCongrats to Pope Larry II this week!
Thank you.
Olavf, Ranger Joe, Lokisbong and Millera9 I really liked you entries this week.
Thanks, Pope. I was hopelessly outclassed by yours this week though 🙂

ParticipantMan, I thought I had a shoo-in this week. As it is, I’m more than happy to get a top ten. Kudos to everyone.

Participantorionid I hear ya. All things considered, even a misdemeanor trespass charge is something I’d rather not risk right now. And something like breaking into the railyards is just right out =/

Participant‘Grats to everyone. I love it when people “bring it” to an out of the box theme.
I have to admit I didn’t rank as well as I’d like to have, but I can’t complain considering the competition.

ParticipantCongrats, U-Man!

ParticipantI think he was deliberately trying to get your goat, see?

ParticipantIt’s more appropriate than a cat around these parts, is all.

ParticipantI hadn’t noticed the line until you mentioned it, but I think since it runs across the full width of the image, it’s a bit much to retouch for Farktography.
That’s why I didn’t fix it. Only real reason I asked because it was in the gray area – I doubt anyone would have noticed it if I hadn’t pointed it out… Kat didn’t see it either.

ParticipantU-man I came across that site the other day. It’s pretty darn awesome. I could never enter something in there because the scant pics of my childhood that I possess are 10,000 miles away though :/
But, I have a rules question that I’d like to bring up. My ‘Vino’ shot has a teeny, tiny line that probably doesn’t affect the shot, but it’s bugging the hell out of me. Between fairly careful DOF, an intentional overexposure, and a minor post-tweaking, I can’t get rid of it.
If I print it, I’ll probably do a quick smudge to blur the line, but is this the sort of thing that meets the ‘errant hair’ or the telephone pole’ side of cleaning up? I really tend to err on the side of caution so I let it go, but I’d like to know for the future.
