ParticipantI think your first one’s best.
The third one’s nice, but you should ask Yzzie to adjust the hue so it’s less blue.
The equestrian shots in your stream are nice, and that ice boat one’s going to do really well.
The too blue one is a direct result of not paying attention to the camera settings. It would be been a great photo if not for that. I also tend to no play around in photoshop with the pics, mostly due to ignorance of the process.
The plan is/was to have one baseball, one horse and the ice canoe.

ParticipantI’ve spent the past few weekend out shooting the local “semi-pro” baseball team. I have a few that I like but I can’t decide on, an outside opinion would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a full set from other times I’ve been out shooting baseball

ParticipantI finally had time to make it though the roll of film and take it in to be devveloped…..The roll of film was blank. The camera needs repairs. I think there is something wrong with the film advancer thingy, but I’ll have to wait on repairs as money is kinda tight right now.

ParticipantPope! Pandora’s working! Yay!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the freebie link!
(they did ask if I wanted the ask! toolbar, but let me deselect it before I installed.) 11.2 gigs of photo goodness, now being restored to my backup drive where I thought I’d put them to begin with.
Thanks to all for the helpful advise–but for my situation (deleted the folders, hadn’t written anything since), Pandora is da bomb!
15 minutes to go, but it’s recovering both raw and jpg versions perfectly.
//saved my arse you did (and my wallet fundage)–thank you thank you thank you Pope!!!
You are very welcome, I only know of the program because I did the same thing and someone pointed me in that direction.

As a bonus it’s free.
I echo the don’t touch anything advice

Participantdammit, I just got on the Facebook, now I gotta move on to this? I think I’ll just go back to being a neo-luddite.

ParticipantRav My winner last week was from a P&S from before I started Farktography (in a serious way). There may be some gems in your archives you are overlooking because of how you feel about the quality of the photos. Post it and let the voters decide.
/my 2 cents.

ParticipantCongrats to Pope Larry II this week!
Thank you.
Olavf, Ranger Joe, Lokisbong and Millera9 I really liked you entries this week.

ParticipantPope, if you used it before, it was under a different link or I’d have caught it. You can check all of your entries at your user page at http://www.bibliostats.com/farktography/user/pope%20larry%20ii
I did a quick scan and didn’t see it used previously, but you may want to browse a little closer if you have concerns.
It’s not there, whew.
BTW, I love your site. It looks like you’ve put a lot of effort into it.

ParticipantI may or may not have re-posted an earlier entry, specifically the half demolished theatre. I don’t have access to FSM at the moment, but the photo appears in my farktography set in my flickr account (which doesn’t mean I posted to fark)
(the post was 2011-07-06 08:05:41 PM).Can someone check this out?

ParticipantWhat are the rules regarding posting of phone numbers? I have a shot with a ‘for rent’ sign with a phone number, it is a business number not a personal number.

There is a huge back story to this building, and why it is in the state it is.
I just changed the settings on the photo.
Thanks for the answer, I think I’m going to edit out the number.

ParticipantI’m partial to the first pickup, and the second-to-last Dart.
A-yep.
Yep, I agree with them.

ParticipantOlav, I’m running into the same problem, any building that was abandoned downtown has been made into condos or repurposed for something else. Nothing sits empty any more, unless they are attempting demolition by neglect.
I’ve been looking at Urban exploration sites for ideas, you might want to try the same.

ParticipantBicycling is a sport right? So if I get pictures with the handle bars or front forks and the road in front of me that would be good? Or maybe a self portrait while riding. A myspace angle should show the bike and road too.
Sure thing. Hm…that actually gives me other ideas, now that I think about it.
There has to be little league baseball in your city. Go and shoot that.
