Gaaah I fear that Banksy pieces will be popular, but it’s tough to not want to use them.

    Dilemma.

That’s probably why I won’t be using mine.

Does bathroom wall graffiti count or does it have to be outdoor “art”?

Why would you take a camera into the bathroom?

I’m having trouble narrowing down my selections for this contest. I’m looking for a second opinion.

so far I’m leaning towards the banksy, the cards and the last one (called running for mayor), although I like the dog walking one, the ‘punk rock’ tape and the chess pieces also.

Wow–we don’t have ANY graffiti of this caliber in Az. I liked Chess, Robbin’ Banksy, and Stevie Wonder myself.

Thanks, there is a placed called Graffiti Alley in Toronto, it’s about 3 blocks long and filled with really good graffiti. Unfortunately the current mayor is trying to paint over it, with limited success.

The most ghetto area within 4 hours from here are a toss-up between downtown Oakland or the Tenderloin in SF, and I seem to have misplaced my body armor…

How do you think I feel? I live in Toronto, ghetto is where they forget to clean the streets one day 😉

I’m not a huge fan of prizes for farktography, it think it would lead to outright vote whoring every contest.

I like the idea of the side bar. If you want to do something like that an e-mail to Drew or Mike could get the ball rolling. They are planning a redesign anyway (I assume this is public knowledge at this point).

I’d prefer keeping the difficulty at ‘human’, but I can think of several potential shots where both were in the scene.

    Sign language with a gorilla?

I was actually planning a shot of my niece doing sign language. She’s 18 months and knows some basic words (more, bath….) She hasn’t spoken much yet, but she can sign.

I was going to post this one, but I don’t think many Farkers would recognize him

Thanks to those of you who pushed me towards some creativety. It’s been a difficult last 6 months and I was at low ebb. I’ve got two that I’m willing to enter and have an idea for a third. Sometime you just need a gentle shove. Thanks!

This is why I choose Farktography over all the other places I could trot out my stuff. We’re, like, cool, and stuff. 8)

I’m a fan of the non-competitive competition here. We want to win but we are also willing to help someone else win.

The Netherlands seemed like fun when I was there, well Amsterdam at least.

There is a place just outside Toronto that makes biltong and has other South African foods. No, I’m not from South Africa, I just really enjoyed my time there.

Congratulations (Be)CauseISaidSo! That is an awesome photograph. There were a lot of really good entries this week.

I learned a lot about HDR and GiMP as a result of this contest which, for me, was the point of entering the contest. I did not expect to do well at all, and I and frankly stunned that my one photo ended up at #5.
