I’m sitting this one out, folks. I got nothing & don’t want to enter something that’s just pro forma. Have fun!

My muse seems to have deserted me with respect to this theme. *sigh*

I wonder how many of these shots will make it “out into the wild” and show up on some random computer that gets noticed by some farker/ette on down the road at a DMV or somewhere….

I know I’ve seen RadioactiveApe’s 2007-10-17 11:02:08 PM, but I’m not finding it in the FSM…does it look familiar to anyone else?

Not to me… and I’d remember that, I’m sure.

[SilverStag]

Holy cow did I suggest this?

[SilverStag]

How about “Please vote for the images you download” ?

[SilverStag]

I’m having a blast with my Sigma 10-20 —- wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide represent!

[SilverStag]

Now all we need is some way to make a download of an image count as a vote!

I agree with Flavivirus – there are a couple of folks this week who seem to miss the idea of following the rules. It’s not as bad this week as it has been in the recent past, though, I’ll have to admit.

Some of the entries this week are stunning. Well done!

My wife works in a dental appliance office- I coulda had lots of bridges had I thought of it!

[SilverStag]

Where’s your civic pride there, stapler dude?

[SilverStag]

It says “shoot” rather than “use” – so we have to get a new photo, rather than something already at hand?

That may be beyond inconvenient.

ahhh good point. mods, what say we modify it to “your best shots for computer wallpaper” or similar?

[SilverStag]

I guess the name comes from Japanese anime. My son and his wife are into that. I just know I’ll end up calling her “Connie” 🙂

[SilverStag]

Damn, I miss Rogers Park…

[SilverStag]

I’m loving the images in this week’s contest. Kudos, looks like everyone approached it in the spirit it was intended!

Sclark, Elsinore, well done! I was going to do both the lighted koosh balls and the slinky, but decided to go another direction. I bought both of them, but they ended up in the grandkids’ toybox.
