ParticipantUnfortunately, I’m not sure if I’ll get anything for tomorrow. Tried shooting something today, but it’s raining. Had one other idea, but I don’t know if the weather is going to cooperate, so we’ll see.
I empathize with you. Lately, it seems that any time I’m not working and it is daytime I have ‘bad’ light. The whole day at work it’s sunny.
Getting practice with low light and flash photography though. 😉

ParticipantI spent 45 minutes last night out on the country roads in -15 degree weather because the moon was really big and low and cool. One pic might be worth submitting. That’s photography I guess.
Still learning. And that’s good.

ParticipantDamn you Freud!

ParticipantGood. Some pretty good pics tonight.

ParticipantDid you notice he appears to be wearing a wedding band? That always makes me chuckle.
Maybe the wife enjoys lending a hand (or fist :P)
DON”T GIS ‘tubgirl’.
Might as well go for the trilogy and look up lemonparty 😛
none of these compare to 2girls1cup.
La-la-la-la-la-la-la. I can’t hear you. I’m going to bed soon. I don’t need to see that as I fall asleep.
So. Yes, FM, I do think that there are some pretty goo pics tonight.

ParticipantWOW !!! I think I should have ask what’s a goatse before I GIS it. 😯
It’s real, or what? That’s not natural !
I don’t think that I have ever seen a more perfect fit between the little Emoticon face and the text.

Participanti felt very weird posting naked pictures. And yes, goatse is always funny 😛
Context is important.
This contest was really difficult for me too. Most of the funny stuff I have or I thought of is only partially funny if you don’t already know the subject.

ParticipantI am hoping to do better in this one. I went out and bought some colored lightbulbs to stick in a couple of old lamps we have and try to setup some interesting shots while I was feeling creative.
I need to get beyond just point and shoot, even if I play with camera settings 🙂Go to it JP! Shoot 50! Shoot a bunch. Shoot from stupid angles. Shoot from up close and far away. Shoot so that pesky glare is out of the way. Shoot so that pesky glare becomes part of the photo. One of the things that I love about digital is the freedom to take a bunch of pics. One or two always turn out better than the rest – and it’s not always the ones that I expected.

ParticipantYeah, I s’pose we should add something like, “As always, must be safe for work” or for a little less authoritarian, “Try to keep it clean, people”.
/hard to type that

ParticipantThey have a red horse-shoe shape on their bellies.

ParticipantIt looks like a blacksmith widow to me. Not very dangerous. Their arms are usually larger than most spider’s.

ParticipantThis one is turning out to be harder than I thought it would be. While there are lots of big metal things around, I can’t find one that screams heavy.
I’ll keep searching and thinking.

ParticipantI just had a thought. I could submit a photo of my mother-in-law. She’s Polish and really likes to clean when she comes for a visit = Utility Pole. Not gonna though.
I had way more fun with this contest than I thought I would. I mean, c’mon, they’re utility poles. However, they’re also all over the place and I found myself looking for ‘good ones’ over the past two weeks while driving. It will be fun to see what we get tonight and tomorrow.

ParticipantThanks for all of the comments. I went to the camera store today and, as usual, spent more than I intended to. I am now the proud owner of a Hurricane blower to augment my wimpy brush blower. I also got some VisibleDust sensor swabs and cleaning solution.
After brushing and blowing and brushing and blowing the inside of my camera with and without the sensor clean mode activated, I still had some specks and one smear on the low-pass filter. I then used the sensor swab and solution. Mama Mia its-a clean-a! It was easy and I’m happy with the result.
Here’s the yucky gray sky outside right now….without specks.
