plastic forks on a piece of glass (borrowed from a picture frame)
the glass is on four soup cans at the corners
this is so that is is raised above my laptop and I can blur the downloaded pic of a kaleidoscope using dofI thought about throwing one spoon in there but decided that would be distracting for the fork theme.

It was a good theme, though. Personally, I’d like to revisit this one some time.
Me too. There was some consternation and ambiguity in the discussion, but the pics in the thread show that everybody has a gut level understanding.

After recent weeks, I was totally expecting somebody to race up and snatch 1st.

I too, like the rust. The textures and colors are beautiful. But I love the gas station light. The rays of light make it seem like the parallel lines on either side are curving away from the center.
Thanks. The problem with posting B’s for a theme like this is the oh-man-I-shoulda-posted-THAT-one feeling that you can get. The rust pic and the less macro fence pic I used for this theme were from the same day. I guess I chose the wrong one. 🙁 I still like the one I posted though.

Participantbtw – the “Tires” pic of the gas station in my B’s was from the tiny, Wisconsin town where I do a yearly spring fishing trip. Population 200 or something. I was snapping pics of the gas station and a woman walked by. She stopped and watched me. When I looked up at her she asked,
“Uuuuummm, what are you doing?”
“Taking pictures”
“Uuuummm, what for?”
“I think it looks neat”
**blank stare with obvious incomprehension**
“It’s art”
“Really?” *shakes head and walks away*
I thoroughly enjoyed that interaction. The world has so much crap in it that it’s nice to be able to see past it sometimes.
