Participant…. had an entry deleted. I’m wondering if anyone can give me a hint why.
I have no clue. Maybe you somehow linked to the larger size that was 230k. As Elsinore says, there is a fuzzy size limit. Fark doesn’t like files over ‘X’ kb. I keep mine 100 – 140 kb and have no problems.
I took a brief look through your Flickr pages –> Some good stuff. I’d love to see you come around again.

ParticipantCool. It’s back. I think DiA just wanted a closer race.

ParticipantThis is what I get.

ParticipantDancin in Anson’s, #1 pic isn’t showing. While the vast majority of the votes are in, I don’t want to risk bumping the smiling pooch out of first place due to a technical issue.

ParticipantWhat are youse guys talking about? Why are you on the silent decay thread?

ParticipantI figured your facebook comment about the sawzall was for the animals theme….
Naaa. I was removing a tricky piece of counter that had a part of a wall built on top of it. Trying to slide out the counter without damaging the wall or removing the cabinet caused a few bad words to be uttered. Got it done though.
I had difficulty selecting tonight’s pics. I (arbitrarily) chose to use new subjects and no macro bugs.

ParticipantAn added benefit for you all is that my brain just fell out onto the floor. I am attempting to find a particular shot of a seagull I took a few months ago. During my search I have found and prepared roughly one million other animal photos.
And I still haven’t found the one I want.

ParticipantPart of me was rooting for myself and part was rooting for Mopsy. 🙂
I’m happy with how it turned out. Congrats Mopsy.

Participant…could have gotten closer were I not concerned about her attacking my camera (again)
🙂 The ‘again’ made me smile.
Thanks for the input.

Participantsoosh, you shoot with a 20D, right? Have you used shorter macros? I have the Canon 100 and really like it – but I haven’t used a 60 mm to compare.

ParticipantOlav, thanks for the feedback. To clarify the question further – on a 50D with 1.6 crop, what are the pros and cons of 60 vs 100 mm focal length? Then, which particular lens do you like?

ParticipantThanks Elsinore. Glad you are feeling better.
/had a GI flu a few years back that was horrible. Caught between terrible shaking chills if I got out from under the covers and the NEED to get to the bathroom every hour or so. I’m telling you, if I happen to get chilled now and have a little shiver, my brain freaks out with a flashback to that illness. I have really disliked the chills since then. 🙁

ParticipantElsinore, yer funny. I appreciate your humor.
I agree, this group of wierdos is pretty neat.

Can you please repair my snow globe? 2009-12-23 08:22:03 PM Broken image. Thanks in advance. We just did a cold windy family walk in the snow and it is time to get the little one in the tub.

ParticipantAlso, if you’re in contact with upmqtguy, I could use some clarification on his wanted poster entry.
First – thanks for the help with my entries.
Second – I am not in contact with upmqtguy, but Mopsy might be. I’ll send her an e-mail.
Looking at his pic, I’m pretty sure it is ‘shopped. The guy’s left shoulder is chopped off. From what I know, this is one of those innocent ‘learning curve’ mistakes that many of our newer farktographers make.
