I have a Canon A560 that is also very good at macro photos but I have been wondering exactly the same thing justkat is asking.Also what exactly does an extension tube do? Right now I only have the kit lens for my Rebel xs and need at least one other choice of lens. I like the macro shots too and don’t think the efs 18-55mm is a very good lens for macro shots. That could just be my lack of experience with a dslr camera though.

Just a chronological display of entries, in other words?

I’m sort of planning on a tech upgrade and that is sort of one of the things I’m going to address. I’ll probably make the headings click-able – one click sorts the column descending, one click sorts it ascending. “Theme” (sorted by ID, so chronological), “Votes” and “Standing” would be sortable.

As always, give me time.

I wouldn’t say I was felling stabby. Maybe a little robbed when I posted that comment because I had 1 vote for each of my shots and I see several entries with votes that are in what appear to be museum type settings and I didn’t imagine them making much noise during the taking of the picture or ever again.

That is very cool. and I even made it on the montage with the helicopter from curves. The sidewalk thing from yellow also. Awesome. I didn’t see any other pictures I took But I kinda started getting blurry vision from looking at them all in the full sized version.

I would like to add my thanks to the list schnee. You do a great thing with the FSM. It is really helpful for remember if I have used a picture. It hasn’t been the best ego booster but it rocks anyway.

Wow. just wow at what the lack of light pollution can do for a night sky. 1201 just amazes me. how long is the exposure on that ? I wouldn’t think it to long what with the lack of long trails.

Very cool picture. I need to go up in the mountains as soon as the weather decides to cooperate (been overcast) on my weekend so I can try to get something kinda like that. I do wish I had a lens capable of f/1.8.
