Wow. just wow at what the lack of light pollution can do for a night sky. 1201 just amazes me. how long is the exposure on that ? I wouldn’t think it to long what with the lack of long trails.

Cool. I just wish I would have had the exposure a touch longer. It was a little brighter than the picture shows.

I have a lot of flower pictures with the Powershot but virtually none with the EOS. I’m wishing spring was here already. Gonna be all archive picks I think.

    Hah! well played soosh.

I suspect I’m going to have to try my luck down at the local Catholic cathedral. I was in a church last spring and didn’t burst into flames on the spot so I think I’m safe.

Still debating doing something completely left field though. mayhap a temple to steel, if I can make the images portray what’s in my brain

That was my main worry on this one. It’s probably been ten years or more since I stepped in a church. I was hoping some nice nature shots might pass the rules for this contest?

Mine is a guy hooked up to a polygraph that started out with an OK story but is now lying his ass off.

That is a really good description for mine also.
Its nice to see my pictures stay up for this whole time as well. Hooray Flickr!

U-Man ///on the other hand, I’ll have no similar excuse for next week.

I have the opposite problem. It has been cold but not enough to make a person even think cold by looking at pictures. This week there sure are a lot of really nice pictures.

I can say with certainty that all of my pictures are northern California based. The pics from Utah are great but the few I noticed from Hawaii make me wish I had a more profitable job.

Cool. Thanks for your opinion. I was kind of torn on whether the ocean seemed to be the focus of the pic.

Do you all think there is enough rock in this picture?

I also really liked this theme.I had fun going out and taking dozens of pictures of the Battery Point Lighthouse. Its a shame Imageshack seems to have given up on me. But now maybe It wont happen so much anymore.

I had a really nice picture (imho) bowl of rocks and then realized some were tumbled and or dyed so that one is right out. I found an even better picture though.
