Oooh. I *like* that Kata bag. The Caselogic one linked off the Amazon page might be even more tempting though – likin’ that tripod strap on it. May have to get one of those before we (ugh) have to fly in May. I don’t like letting any of my gear out of my sight when I travel…

I tend to carry a couple of lenses around, at least, but generally drag the bulk of my stuff with, hence the backpack (with the exception of the tripod, because I don’t have a convenient way to carry it). I never quite seem to know what I’m going to need.

    Nice!

I’ve got their backpack, and it’s got tons of room – even enough space to squeeze a 3n1 reflector in there.

My only complaint about that one is that it’s got the word “Canon” written in large, mugger-friendly letters on the cover. One of these days I’ll have to see if I can remove them without damaging the bag…

QueenBee, if you right click, go down to properties and then summary, you should be able to find your shutter time. It won’t work after you have sized it for Fark. Go to wherever you have the photo filed.

heh tried but it’s a scanned photo so no info like that 😛

You should have scanned the back of the print as well. Isn’t that where you keep those notes?

//I think this will be one of those ‘epic’ contests, IMHO. I hope so, at least.

Well, I’ve got one in the bag, one to shoot whenever I get home tonight, and a fair number of archive shots…we’ll see…

/probably won’t do well ’cause it was my idea. That’s the way these things seem to work 😉

Since 2sec is a standard exposure, and the next up is generally 3.6(?-workng off memory), I’m cool with 2sec. I intended it to be 2sec or greater anyhow.

-edit: should we amend the description?

Hmm… I should probably re-read the Canon manual again. Too many functions to remember them all these days – I probably utilize 1/10th of my 40D (and that’s because I’m shooting a lot in manual these days)

Ah. That would certainly make sense. I was thinking in terms of digital techniques.

But can you play the Great White North theme on them?
