I ended up with only one entry for this one. I realized that other people would be doing everything on the famous images continuum. Images I considered and rejected:

Eddie Adams’ Vietnamese general shooting the VC
Marylin Monroe
Times Square Kiss
Loose Lips sink Ships
Jack and Rose on the Bow of Titanic (using a lifeboat)

I actually expect to see most of these from other Farkers, which is one reason I rejected them. I didn’t even consider using toys, I wanted to use live people. As it turned out, I ran out of time, and then the weather declined to cooperate this afternoon. C’est la Vie.

I’m looking forward to those days, I just don’t want my kids to get me there prematurely.

I’m only 55 🙂 I went gray and then bald relatively early. The only trouble it’s ever caused me is that if I let my hair and beard get long (as I tend to do in the winter), little girls of about 6 or 7 seen to start believing that I’m Santa Claus and will drag their parents over to me. It can get embarrassing at times.

I had no ideas for this contest until yesterday. On the way home tonight I heard a song that gave me another idea. So I came home and dug out my grandsons Disney figurines and went to work…

You can build a quad core for pretty cheap- just go to Fry’s and pick up everything u need in one trip. That’s what I did to build my (ridiculously underutilized) file server.
