I have taken the shot and am ready to send the Farkamera to its next destination. Who gets it next?

The Farkamera has arrived safe and sound here in the cold, rainy, windy, and dreary midwest. I should be able to get out this weekend, and will will let everyone know when I am ready to send it on.

snug tight – just send mkrieger an email with your address/mailing info and he should get it sent out to you when he’s done! post here when you’re done with it and we’ll figure out where it should go next.

    Thanks. Email sent.

I know this is kind of late, but for us poor folks, here is a link for a free 30 day trial of CS2. It is under Downloads then tryout.

We have also had alot of huge spiderwebs lately. Schnee, that is a great tip about the atomizer, I will have to try that. I have gotten a few when the sun refelects off the web “just right”. I also had to use manual focus.

Farktography – maybe the best thing on Fark.com.

I agree. I have entered 58 out of 65 contests (thank you FSM). If my entry can get one-third the votes of the first place photo, I consider that a good day. The photos I think are going to do well rarely do. I have been taking a beating theses last few contests. My job changed so I have to post a few hours after the contest starts. I was thinking about these contests the other day and wondered if I am a better farktographer today than I was on my boobies. Not sure if I am any better, but I know these contest have kept me out there trying. There is nothing better than grabbing the camera, heading off in the Mustang convertible and looking for that next great shot.

That is on Screaming In Digital’s (AKA CuddleButt) site http://www.itsouttasite.com/. He started and used to run the contests.

    Screaming In Digital

That sound cool. Count me in.

Now, the one week I have to go to work early, the contest gets greened right away. I usually post my entries, leave for work and check a few hours later when I get home. If they keep going green this early, I’m not sure I will stay a TotalFarker. I guess you cant please everybody.

Wow, It has been a year. I have been in most of the contests, and I really look forward to it each week. Thanks to CuddleButt for getting this thing started and thanks to all the modmins who keep the Farktography website and forum going. Also, thanks to all the modmins and Drew at Fark.com. We have a lot of talent here. Looking forward to many more. Happy Anniversary everybody.

mofo I feel your pain. I’ve got a Digital EOS and just got a Canon 75-300mm. The auto focus rarely focuses on what I want it to. That’s the good thing about digital, you can take a lot of shots without it costing more. Wow, I just did the math and I have taken 447 shots since I got the new lens on April 11. You are a good farktographer so I think you will pick up mastering the focus in no time.
