I went out yesterday afternoon to a local graveyard with my seven-year-old (ahhh, the fond memories she’ll have…) and found a very simple, very creepy tombstone. I got a few pics of it that will work. I just went there to try to get a night-time pic that is a snooch better. I don’t know if I succeeded in anything but creeping myself out. It has been raining all day and the ground is all squishy. I was kneeling in the squish, on the grave, in the dark. Then some owls or something were hooting in the nearby woods. Creepy.

Never seen this before, but with the way I just played with it all evening I have a feeling I’m going to become a regular user quite quickly.

Completely understand. I have stuff I don’t even know about. Over the years I have ripped multiple friends’ entire CD collections. I’m afraid of P2P though. At about 250 G.

Overall, I liked this theme. Not an instant classic, but good nonetheless. Lots of folks got the idea of interesting photo combined with ugly subject. Justkat’s worm comes to mind. I mean, if she had just stood over the worm and clicked a snapshot it wouldn’t have worked. Laying down on her belly on a wet sidewalk and giving depth to that monster totally worked. 🙂

I still like SilverStag’s barn.

My daughter, Debbie tried voting from here and it would not let her. It seems that about 10 photos said I had already voted. The rest went through. Fark has not responded yet. Does it usually take awhile for them to reply?

mopsy, do you share your computer with anyone else with a fark account? fark has decided that my son’s and my wife and my account are all the same.

It did this to us about a year, year and a half ago after I had been to Mopsy’s and logged on to fark on her computer. Fark thought we were the same person for a while after that – even though we were on computers 400 miles apart. It took a few e-mails to the fark crew, but they got it worked out.

/Haven’t been there since Christmas.

Damn! That’s what I get for trying to pay attention to too many things at the same time. I took a look at this earlier and responded hastily.

Note – It is my kids spring break and two of them have sleep over friends here for the night. That’s right, I had five girls under 11 running around. Some with facial mud masks. Plus there’s the wife. Then I had to kick their little asses on Mario Kart Wii. 🙂

Anyway. Orionid. When I read your question about being too human I thought you were referring to the pick that I posted. I don’t know why I thought this. I plead kid-induced temporary insanity.

You pose a somewhat sticky question. Personally, I have no problem with using the skull photo. The intent of my difficulty was to prevent cruelty via farktography. Obviously, the fellow or lady in your photo will not be taking any offense. However, I can see some folks getting fussy that a ‘human’ is the subject.

If I had Moderator duties tomorrow, I’d let your skull pic stay up. If I found one making fun of Uncle Larry, I’d yank it.

bucky bacon, I agree with your reasoning completely. The human is incidental. The shirt *shudder* is the subject. Therefore the pic is acceptable.
